I am trying to get the prayer chains going again... For those of you unfamiliar with Jaxson's journey, We have had some previous prayer threads for him over the past few years... Here are links to them to give you some background on Jaxson's condition if you don't know it.

My Daughter, Katie, had a page that has his history on it up to about May '18 here Jaxson's got guts until she stopped updating there and moved it to Facebook... I don't think she has done much updating anything since she started school and working awhile back.
He was taken in at 7am Phoenix time and they expected a 12 hour surgery. Well we finally just heard that old organs are out and new organs are in and they had just done the first of the stitches. Katie was told this morning as they were taking him in, that they would decided after they got into the surgery but that they may also be transplanting the stomach too on top of small intestines, liver and pancreas
Allow me to say thanks again for all the continuing prayer!

Prayers are with you and your family, the donors family and the doctors. You are in a good hospital with good doctors. I know you know that. Recovery will be hard but worth it. We went through two transplants with our daughter. One when she was 11 and then when she was 28. She is 36 now. She’s doing great. One of the best things to do is to find a support group where you are if you can. You will learn so much from each other and become lifelong friends. Best wishes. Sincerely.

Praying also for his medical team for wisdom and your guidance in all procedures. Asking, also, for prayers for Jaxson’s family especially his grandmother who has traveled with him. Prayers for Jaxson and his family. And that the Lord will lead and guide Jaxson’s doctors. Thanks for the update. A prayer for him morning and night.
My wife just sent me an update, He is finally back in his room after 13 hours... Surgery went well and they ended up transplanting the Stomach, small intestines, liver and pancreas and decided to remove his spleen while they were in there. They said the next 36 hours will be critical... I know my wife & daughter won’t relax for much longer than that, since last time he did really good for 2 weeks before he started rejecting. He is not out of the woods by a long shot but this critical first step is finally done and we are left to pray he heals up and does not reject again. Hopefully he is on the pathway to a little more of a normal childhood. They are going to try to get some sleep now and I won’t expect any news until tomorrow sometime.
I have to say once again, Thank you one and all for the outpouring of prayer... we all took comfort in knowing of the huge prayer chain that have been petitioning God with us!
Never forget, God is Good, ALL the time!
