The Big Bang doesnt contradict the intervention of a divine Creator, but demands it, Pope Francis said Monday morning, because the beginning of the world is not the work of chaos. The Pope was addressing the plenary assembly of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences, gathered in the Vatican to discuss Evolving Concepts of Nature. God is not some sort of wizard, said Francis, but rather the Creator who brought all things into being. The origin of the world derives directly from a supreme Principle of creative love, he added. Evolution in nature is not inconsistent with the notion of creation, because evolution requires the creation of beings that evolve.

Got it. Just helping you in advance when others disagree with you (and they have already out of the gate).
Trust me on this one...
Stephen said definitively in his miniseries “there was no time before the big bang therefore the was no devine creator”
Talk about jumping the quantum shark!
I swear the graduates where blowing pot smoke in his face before he vocoded that retarded line in the sand.
He even got his black hole shit wrong too.

Not commenting on your conclusion. But I am noting you are using unscientific terms to describe scientific phenomena. It is like saying “by star I mean big ball of light.”
When in a domain, you should use the proper vernacular.
Then scripture is wrong.
Then you must believe the following:
Something (the universe) comes from nothing.
Life comes from lifelessness.
Man has somehow, someway evolved from a low form of life to the complex form we are today though there are no examples of that transformation occuring in nature today.
Only the Bible has the correct answer...."In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth....."
Moses wrote down what had previously been passed down orally.
But a man did not evolve from an ape and yet both were CREATED.
I know of his black hole, complete destruction of matter, problem...a plumber from the Bronx(my home town) whupped his butt.
I liked a lot of what Hawking has done....he has made his physics (’brief history...’) readable by guys like me...but the elitist pseudo intellectual in him has skewed him way too leftist for my liking of late...
>> “this clearly shows the RCC does not believe the Bible” <<
.
The RCC has existed to destroy the word of God, and the true worship of Yeshua since it was founded in 364 AD.
.
... And, unfortunately, we cannot find most of that antimatter anymore. But it was there. Had to be. It's either the Universe is right, or our calculations!
Moses had access to Egyptian libraries while growing up. Presumably these had copies of Mesopotamian histories as well.
Considering the written word of man, inspired by God. The Cannon that is the Bible wasn’t really settled until about 400 years after Christ’s Death.
The notion that it, and only it, are what God has given mankind is wholly ignorant.
The entire “Sola Scripture” nonsense was invented by a bunch of foolishness in the 16th century, and perpetuates sadly to this day.
“Sola Scripture” is a perfect example of “reintrepretation” for whatever you wish to prove, and hence the plethora of denominations the protestant ideology has spawned, yet they all claim Sola Scripture... if that is true you can’t wind up with dozens if not hundreds of offshoots that have popped up and died off over the centuries.
Its a fools errand, but that is one thing the world is never short of.

In 1859, Charles Darwin's The Origin of Species was published. The views about common descent expressed therein were that it was possible that there was only one progenitor for all life forms.
"Therefore I should infer from analogy that probably all the organic beings which have ever lived on this earth have descended from some one primordial form, into which life was first breathed
As I said...evolution...changing from one species to another.
The “Big bang theory” is nonsense.
All of the visible evidence points to the steady, uniform expansion called for in the Bible.

now... try to imagine that white guy is God... and those primitives are the ancestors of Moses...
Now imagine him trying to answer their questions about how life began, the origin of the universe, heaven, earth, germs, heck even the wind! Everything would have to be put in term THEY would understand!
People just forget just how primitive the people that originally received this information from God were!
Not as evolution is understood today. And by that it is commonly understood that we came from a common anscestor from the primordial soup(as believed by some).
I agree man and apes were created.
We may be taller, faster(?), a bit smarter than humans living three thousand years ago, but beyond that we're still the same. We love, we kill, we give, we steal, etc.
Apes and man evolved from a common ancestor...
the Lord works in the Lord’s way...I don’t question why, I do what God wants, I learn of His Universe by utilizing the brain he gave me.
um... man was here LONG before writing was invented. Information from the garden of Eden HAD to of been passed down orally
Moses wrote down what Yehova dictated to him.
Yehova does not allow his truth to be entrusted to the repeating of the spoken word.
.
Having a written form of communication, building a boat 450ft long, building a ziggaraut, indicates there were some "smarts" back in the day.
Heck, today we have some people who can't fathom something as simple as no work no eat!
