You Tube's Local Pstor is back at it. His newest clip had me laughing out loud at the song choice...
Thanks to Morningstar madness we will soon see Todd and his new, young wife on a platform near you.

According to the clip, Todd's backers knew about his "unhealthy relationship" with an intern even before the revival ended in August 2008.
If this is true, isn't that deception on the part of his backers?
I have heard that Todd Bentley will soon be back. This isn’t the only place that I have seen this said.

I knew something was wrong with this guy.
What is so sad, is that this guy (and other like him out there) gives your average David Wilkerson type of Charismatic a bad name.
I don’t agree with everything that Wilkerson has taught or said in the past, nor am I a Charismatic, but he does preach a message of repentance from sin (which most of your fringe Charismatics shy away from) and he has taken a stand against weird manifestations in Charismatic and Pentecostal churches.
Bentley was raised mainly in Gibsons, British Columbia, a small community on the western coast of Canada. Bentley’s parents divorced while he was a child and he struggled with drug and alcohol addiction. He engaged in criminal gang activities which resulted in a 1991 conviction for sexually assaulting a seven-year-old British Columbia boy. Bentley credits his conversion to Jesus Christ for a change of lifestyle at 18. It was at this point that he began his Christian ministry.
Bentley announced his separation from his wife, Shonnah, in August 2008, and resigned from the Board of Fresh Fire. A statement released by the remaining Board members said ‘Todd Bentley has entered into an unhealthy relationship on an emotional level with a female member of his staff’, and that he will ‘refrain from all public ministry for a season to receive counsel in his personal life’.
So, when did Todd become a UFC fighter for Jesus?
At what point in his “ministry” did he start giving flying knee KO’s?

Don't get me wrong. I do believe in miracles and I do believe people have been healed of many diseases, sicknesses, etc.
But when it comes to limbs growing back or tumors flopping out of people's bodies and whatnot, and there's no video to substantiate these things I get suspicious.
I'm not saying these things haven't happened (I believe the account of Jesus reattaching the Centurion's ear after Peter sliced it off), but we live in a world where you'd think at least ONE of these episodes was caught on tape.
But that's just me.
This is what lines the pockets of these preachers - the ones who make claims but can’t back up said claims.
And this - sadly - causes people to become disillusioned and jaded when it turns out that those claims turn out to be false.
http://www.morningstarministries.org/Group/Group.aspx?ID=1000040651 Please check out this video ...I believe Todd deserves to be talked about in an honoring way...the restoration of his ministry is, I believe, being done honorably. I wouldn’t want to cast the first stone...I have been forgiven so much.
If they knew, would that not make them deceivers, who let a man stay in the pulpit even though he would have no business staying in the pulpit until August?
If so, where is the apology from them? When have they said that they, too, need restoration? I doubt that we will hear any talk of that.
Secondly, if his wife left in June 2008, and Todd doing what he was doing, he had a duty to take himself out of the pulpit, right?
Did you look at all of the garbage this man taught? Did you look at the you tube videos? Did you hear the words out of his own mouth? Did you hear the words out of his own mouth in “Todd Bentley Lies And Contradictions Examined”?
His words do not honor the Christianity at all.
Don't teach Jesus, teach angels? Garbage.
Yes, we have all been forgiven. BUT, the Bible says that we must look at the whole counsel of God. That means looking at all of scripture.
We are admonished in the word of God to correct those who err from the faith in doctrine. Paul the Apostle said that he “cut the ground from underneath” those who taught false doctrine. Anyone can watch those clips and see that he is.
Yes, we are to do all of this in love, tough love if necessary. We are to earnestly contend for the faith.
It isn't casting stones to do the above. It is protecting those who could be swept up into this mess.
I do NOT care what Todd has done. God Bless him and he can go somewhere and live his life.
NOT in Ministry! It is NOT about your opionion or mine. The Bible sets out guidelines for leaders!
I think of Uzzah’s Disobedience The Lord Struck him down because His laws were not followed.
I am thankful for Dutch Sheets coming clean and speaking the truth............
for later
5 For this reason I left you in Crete, that you might set in order what remains, and appoint elders in every city as I directed you, 6 namely, if any man be above reproach, the husband of one wife, having children who believe, not accused of dissipation or rebellion. 7 For the overseer must be above reproach as Gods steward, not self-willed, not quick-tempered, not addicted to wine, not pugnacious, not fond of sordid gain, 8 but hospitable, loving what is good, sensible, just, devout, self-controlled, 9 holding fast the faithful word which is in accordance with the teaching, that he may be able both to exhort in sound doctrine and to refute those who contradict. (Titus 1:6-9)
The Bible says that Bishops must be blameless, and Todd can no longer meet that requirement. He has cast reproach on his “ministry.”
Yes, we all make mistakes, but the Bible lays out standards for Bishops that must be met. They have higher standards to go by. Todd - given what he has done - most certainly isn't blameless now.
Kudos to Dutch Sheets!
On top of all that, IF (according to the You Tube video) those who backed Todd knew even before the plug was pulled on the “revival” in August 2008, where is the repentance and seeking after restoration on their part?
Is Todd the only one who needs “restoration” here?
Oh, I agree.
Check out what I posted in post #16.
Just finished posting it...

“... John Arnott reports excessive drinking...”
Godly men I respect are working with Todd and giving him an opportunity to start over...but as the video of Pastor Joyner makes clear it is ultimately Todd’s choice. Jesus restored Peter who denied the Lord which is one of the worst sins. Some people are naturally charismatic beyond their knowledge and sometimes they walk blind to their unhealed hearts and minds.Love is the greatest motive for anyone and anything.
It is not up to Rick Joiner, it is up to God’s Word.
FEAR GOD! Not man!!
