What is so sad, is that this guy (and other like him out there) gives your average David Wilkerson type of Charismatic a bad name.

I don’t agree with everything that Wilkerson has taught or said in the past, nor am I a Charismatic, but he does preach a message of repentance from sin (which most of your fringe Charismatics shy away from) and he has taken a stand against weird manifestations in Charismatic and Pentecostal churches.

I'll be totally honest with you. We've had a number of these people come through our church telling us of these sensationally miraculous healings and I always think to myself, "How come there is never any video of these healings but there is always video of guys describing these healings?".

Don't get me wrong. I do believe in miracles and I do believe people have been healed of many diseases, sicknesses, etc.

But when it comes to limbs growing back or tumors flopping out of people's bodies and whatnot, and there's no video to substantiate these things I get suspicious.

I'm not saying these things haven't happened (I believe the account of Jesus reattaching the Centurion's ear after Peter sliced it off), but we live in a world where you'd think at least ONE of these episodes was caught on tape.

But that's just me.
