I grew up on a 160 acre dairy farm, that after ya subtracted about half the acreage for marsh and woods , we raised oats and other grains and corn and grew a lot of veggies and fowl on the rest ... used to have deer , moose in the back yard, canadian geese all over along with ducks of all sorts. I miss it.

Beer. Yeppers, they grow beer there. It's the state bird. Beer.

Beer is the first choice for breakfast, lunch and SUPPER. Not dinner...supper.

Beer is to be bathed in. Brushing of the teeth is best with beer.

Goodness.....they did like their beer.

You mentioned something about fish & water? (heheeeee)

Maybe 1000 tomorrows from now.....but I will be there to do your dishes because that's what friends are for.

(Gramma: If it takes that long for her to get to your coast, it'll probably take 2000 for her to make it to the west coast of Ohio. I hope I have enough dishes to last that long! If not, there's always eBay, I guess.) ;)

She's the NEXT STATE OVER from me and she won't come and do the dishes. I think this has been going on for a year now.

I've tried bribing her, and it seemed to work, then she upped the ante.

Yeah, it grows on the trees, in the grass, out in the woods, in the streams. The stuff is all OVER that state.

Yeah, it was quite a ride! Were you urbanly challenged, lived and raised in a tract house, or ?? Im glad I didn't live in a city, tho my little town has grown and swallowed up my old farm.

It's weird, years ago a Interstate Freeway , I-94 split our farm up and now there are now about 3 motels, a gas station, 3 restaurants, a Target store, a mini golf course and go kart track, last I know anyway, there could be more by now.

This is now all on land that used to be all corn, and soybeans or grain.
