We're Almost There: First Quarter '03 FReepathon Now Underway .. Thread 7

.... ...
The Free Republic first quarter '03 FReepathon is now underway!

Our goal for this fundraiser is the same as last quarter: $65,000. We have about $4,000 per month coming in from monthly donors so we will need to raise approx $53,000 to hit the target.
The funds raised through these fundraisers are used to pay our operating costs. Free Republic operates on an approximate $260,000 annual budget (breakdown here) and all funds are provided by donations from FReepers and Lurkers.

Thank you all very much for your continued support.
P.S. We are planning to make FreeRepublic.com email addresses available as a thank you to all who donate at least once per year. This new feature should be ready to go within a few days. We will post a notice and a link for donors to setup their FR email address as soon as it's ready.
Donate to FR and help us keep the lights on for the best political forum on the NET!

Some of you know, I live about 60 miles from the nearest town. This falls is about the equivalent of 6 "city" blocks from where we live.

LOL! Just saw your logo for the "Last Day Saloon."

One thing's for sure, by the time this last day is over, I'll be ready for the saloon!

Isn't it? We've been blessed to be able to live in such an area...even if it HAS been a bit of a challenge at times. You quickly learn that COSTCO is the place to shop because if you run out of something, you can't just pop down to the local grocery store. The other thing we've learned is to have back-ups of certain items. Like coffee pots...lol.

Good Morning everyone! Looks like we're almost there!

Every penny that is donated is greatly appreciated and helps to pay the bills.

Your donation is greatly appreciated! And if you think about it, a $20 donation for this quarter is equivalent to a $6.67 per month donation. Thank you for your generous support!

To those Freepers and Lurkers who are still considering a donation to Free Republic:

Can you spare 17 cents per day? Great! Join Grampa Dave's Monthly Donors Team.

$5.00 per month too much right now? Consider MonroeDNA's $3.00 per month challenge (thanks to glock rocks for posting!).

Even your loose change can add up to a nice donation. Join Exit148's Loose Change Club (I just mailed in mine - see Reply 84 in Thread 4).

Please consider a donation to Free Republic today. Thank You for your support!

The picture of the falls is breathtaking!

Never been to Oregon, but it certainly looks beautiful.

Are you near the coast or inland? Closest I've ever been is Sausalito (I love the sound of that name, so I use it instead of SF).

When you say you're 60 miles from the nearest town, do you mean to even buy a quart of milk or a loaf of bread?

Sorry to be so nosy, but I'm facinated by your story. We run to the supermarket everyday, and sometimes twice a day, but it's only five minutes away.

This critter hates Free Republic. Actully this critter is the leading Rat Candidate for President, and he is being silenced by the Rat Racists who control the Rat Party!
