HEADGATE OPENS FRIDAY!

Just got off the phone with Barb Hall and THE WATER WILL FLOW! This is the stuff history is made of. Strongly suggest that anyone who can make it that is about property rights - be there!

HEADGATE NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wed Mar 27 09:21:48 2002
198.81.16.33

All,

Just talked to Jim Bryant Chief, Division of Water and Lands at BOR and here's what he said:

Gail Norton, Ann Vennamen, and Gordon Smith will be here Friday March 29th to officially open the headgates. The press release that Jim had from DOI said that all will happen between 9:30 to 10:45 AM.

I checked the DOI website for the press release and it hasn't been posted yet. Will let you know more as I learn it.

This is great! The greens are beginning to wilt and look a little brown on the edges.

Actually I think I know why they're called greens, it is the almighty GREEN paper dollar they're seeking. If they cared one hoot about the environment they wouldn't be trying to push the stewards of the land into bankruptcy.

Absolutely!

Every enviral nazi who was involved in this economic terrorism via bad data should be sued in civil courts. Then sue their board members in civil court for allowing this to happen. Then, sue big contributors who donate money to conduct rural cleansing terrorism. A couple of successful suits will force insurance companies to drop their umbrella coverage of the directors, board members and officers of these enviralist green nazis. Without insurance and some big losses in civil court, the financial backing will dwindle to nothing.

Then sue every federal liar/clown in civil court. Don't sue the government! Sue the liars/clowns! Hammer these bastards so that they will be on welfare eating beans for the rest of their lives.

Dave, my old eyes have some tears right now for these farmers and ranchers and for the good people in America.

If I didn't have our family and friends coming for the Easter Weekend, I would be on the road tomorrow to watch and record this great event!

"I will all ways feel that if not for the Freepers who got involved last year
there would be no farmers/ranchers and those who worked on those farms and ranches in the Klamath Basin this year."

Special note of Thanks to Jim Robinson!

This is a huge win for all who were involved in this critical issue!

Then it is a huge win for all Americans who believe in property rights and are willing to stand up against the Evil Green Empire!

The Portland tree huggers finally lost.

Finally!

You posted, It's well worth noting that they could simply have left the job to some maintenance guy. This ceremony -- and especially Gail Norton's presence -- is meant to send a message.

You are absolutely right! Just like when our Fighter Planes flew over our protestors last year in support of them. That was no accident. That was a signal of support from a former AF Fighter Jock, who happened to be president then.

Jim, I just wanted to alert you to this good news and victory that Free Republic played such a big role in.

Thanks for your support and allowing us to make this a front page issue on Free Republic last year!

You can add this big win to the others that Free Republic has enabled in just the last year or so!

No difference between Rats and R`s, huh?

I never said that. I've just been kind of disappointed in Dubya lately with CFR, amnesty for illegals, increased foreign aid, and pressuring Israel to cut a deal with terrorists. It's nice to get some good news.

I'm still not sure what this means, but open gates are far better than closed gates while we figure it out.

My Bandon friend posted, Special note of Thanks to Jim Robinson!

Right on and please see my reply #32 above re thanks to Jim!

Thanks for your incredible energy and support on this issue. Your ping lists and devotion to this issue helped to wake up a lot of good freepers and to keep many of us going with the good news and even the bad news.

Thanks to Free Republic and people like you, the news black out on this issue by the left wing enviralists in Oregon and California did not work this time.

You and we got the word and the news out each day!

I like fish and water both. I like my fish fried and I like my water with my sippin' whiskey. So if I have to make a choice, it's adios fish!!

Let the water flow.
