John Kirby: Israeli Strike on Hezbollah ‘Good for the World’

Biden administration national Security spokesman John Kirby said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that Israel’s military action that killed Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and other top officials was “good for the world.”

Kirby said, “I don’t think anybody is mourning the loss of Mr. Nasrallah, a known terrorist, a guy with American blood on his hands as well as Israeli blood on his hands. This is a terrorist organization. He was the leader of it. And I think people are safer without him walking around. But they’ll try to recover. We’re watching to see what they do to try to fill this leadership vacuum. It’s going to be tough that much of their command structure has now been wiped out.”

I’m shocked. He’s right. And I’m glad the Administration is standing up for Israel and its decision to go after Hezbullah. All this “cease fire” talk is nonsense.

Though I am skeptical and wonder if it wasn’t Israel that convinced him. It was probably Lebanon that convinced him, and maybe a couple of CIA analysts. Not all but a few.

Well unlike Harris, Biden got some votes, but the vote that counted was Clyburn’s vote appointing him as the nominee by unanimous consent or some such thing. Not sure how this worked for Harris, just sort of a, well she is the nominee. Anyone want to take the heat of the entire deepstate by objecting? Thought not.

Maybe. He may be one of the few sane ones. Sure he has to do what his boss says but these days there is no boss. I think he is the guy who has been putting his foot down against allowing Ukraine strikes inside Russia with US weapons.

His days were probably numbered either way. If Trump wins he’s out, if Kamala wins she may replace him… and he’s likely seeing with his own eyes what a disaster the world has crumbled into due to such terrible policies he’s probably inclined to resign. Just doing his duty for now. By January 20 he’ll be gone one way or another.

I saw Danny Hutton walk by after a concert just this year (he was about 8 feet away)

He’s 82 now - 2 of his sons play in the band

I didn’t get a chance to meet him though I got a picture with David (again) one of the singers

I shook hands with Cory Wells in 1984. Was fortunate enough to shake hands with Jimmy Greenspoon and talk to him just a short bit at the same show. Only original members at that show were Danny, Cory and Jimmy.

Jimmy and Cory both passed away in 2015 unfortunately
