Americans across all age groups have dramatically cut back on spending between April and June, a recent study from TransUnion found, as many remain concerned about the higher cost of living despite declining inflation. ... 39 percent of all respondents said they had cut back on discretionary spending in the past three months. ... Your example is a tv show. But regardless he’s already eating dry cat food - except I think that was just humor and I answered lightly in return.

Are there instances where humans have died from eating wet cat food?
Nutritional Imbalance: Cat food is formulated to meet the nutritional needs of cats, not humans. Long-term consumption could lead to nutritional deficiencies or imbalances.
Contamination Risk: Pet food might not be held to the same safety standards as human food. There is a risk of contamination with pathogens like Salmonella or E. coli, which could cause serious illness.
Ingredients and Additives: Some ingredients in pet food might not be safe for human consumption or might cause allergic reactions.
While a single instance of eating wet cat food is unlikely to be fatal, it is not recommended for humans to consume pet food regularly or in large quantities due to these potential risks.

Lots of people have maxed out their credit cards charging groceries... and paying over 20% on their cards puts the kibosh on spending
That would be helpful, so don’t expect it.
Thank you for that work.
Not intending the pun, it leaves quite the impression.
