Jordan’s King Abdullah gives one of his most pointed criticisms of Hamas’s October 7 terror onslaught.
“All attacks against innocent civilians, women and children, including those of October 7, cannot be accepted by any Muslim,” he says alongside US President Joe Biden.
“As I have previously stressed, we must make sure the horrors of the past few months since October 7, are never repeated, nor accepted by any human being.”
“We must together, along with Arab partners and the international community, step up efforts to reach a ceasefire in Gaza and immediately start working to create a political horizon that leads to a just and comprehensive peace” on the pre-1967 lines, he says.
“This is the only solution that will guarantee peace and security for the Palestinians and the Israelis as well as the entire region.
If there will ever be sanity there, people who are sane will have to speak up.
If they let entities like Hamas, Hezbollah, or Iran directly do their talking via their actions, the result is always going to be the same.
Trump knows this and his administration was brokering peace treaties left and right.
Obama Cartel only wants to support Iran/Hamas types.
I applaud, but there must be more tunnels, too.
A king who remembers that Palestinians tried to depose his family from the throne.

...he says alongside US President Joe Biden.
That's for the public stance. In private, he agrees with Biden's agenda.
The dems will do what they can to insure Israel is annihilated, just not publicly whenever possible.
King Abdullah knows a thing or two about killing Palestinians, and justifiably so. Funny how we never hear that part of history discussed.
OR
An Arab leader unwilling to accept any Pali refugees.
It would make sense for Jordan to govern the West Bank. But the King doesn’t want more Palestinians in his country.
His country purposely exiled them to serve as a weapon against Israel while denying responsibility. Now we see the wisdom of just shutting the F up surpassing him when it was wiser to do so. Dude, the whirlwind cares not for titles royal or low.
Whenever I hear someone calling for a ‘two state solution’, I wonder how they expect that to be worked out.
He exists because we back him.
But, he’s under incredible pressure since in Jordan you have a huge Palestinian population that does not see eye to eye with him.
If we force him to stick his neck out to far...
One question, was Nuland in Amman immediately preceding this announcement? When your options consist of a mob of rabid Palestinians who outnumber the Jordanians or the CIA, you take your chances with the rabid terrorists. The King’s been around the block. He’s been dancing the CIA called jig for decades.
This will never happen. Go to an Islamic nation with lots of space, Lybia for example. Offer to purchase four or five hundred square miles of empty desert on the Mediterranean. Have the Israelis provide a desalinization plant, create an artificial harbor, and build an airport.
Move the Pali’there with the proviso, that they relinquish all claims inside Israel.
That’s the only way a two-state solution works and it will never happen.
Jordan is the only Middle Eastern country I have visited. I went to the old colosseuem in Amman. I wanted to see Petra (3rd Indiana Jones movie) but I had too much work.
Rag head virtue signaling — that’s all.
“An Arab leader willing to condemn ham ass: A good start.”
Call me crazy, but... I don’t consider calling for Israel to “cease fire” so that Hamas can reorganize and regroup as a condemnation.
I think you’re schizophrenic.
“the King doesn’t want more Palestinians in his country.”
Very ironic as most all Palestinians are from Jordan and Syria.
Interesting that they don’t want them back.
