Unlike Vivek, Desantis has a full time job and in the middle of Florida’s legislative session. He’ll most certainly comment when something actually happens. Not for posturing purposes to create name recognition above 0.5%.
I like what Vivik says generally, but he’s not a real candidate in the running for anything.

It’s funny. Trump’s SuperPAC has filed an ethics complaint against Governor DeSantis seeking to have him thrown out of office yet DeSantis is supposed to come riding to Trump’s rescue.

Technically speaking it’s just a rumor at this point. Trump is the only person saying they’re going to arrest him. There’s no reason for DeSantis, or really anybody that’s not just trying to coattail Trump, to comment on a rumor. A rumor that even if true, will probably wind up not true for a while (smart money if they were planning to arrest him is to wait at least a month, just so he looks bad).

Trump has no business ordering DeSantis to throw his hat in the ring...just because he threw his in...very, very early....much too early. We always got that little break after the mid term elections..not this time

It’s possible that DeSantis will take stronger action. It would be impossible for NY authorities to arrest Trump in Florida without Florida allowing it.

I’m just going to say this. It’s going to apply to DeSantis. But I
am not saying to direct it at him.
Read the comments on this thread. Oh Trump hasn’t even been
arrested yet. Let’s wait until he is to react. Then is so and so
doesn’t do something he’s done.
Forget what so and so does.
How very Republican of everyone.
We never get out front and ward anything off. NEVER! And we’re
even worse after the fact.
We knew things were wrong even prior to Election Day 2020. Did
we ward off the problems. Did anyone call the police when our
people were locked out of the precincts? Did anyone file
complaints regarding massive stuffed ballots. What about any of
the other things? Did anyone document them and go after the
perps later?
Who warded off the Trannies from kids? Who objected to 90% of our professors being Socialists/Communists? Who warded off CRT? Who
warded off the payment to the domestic terrorist networks? Now we’re
playing catch up on everything!
I could go on an on.
Here we are right this minute. Let’s wait until Trump is arrested!
How very Republican! I’m so sick if this s—t!
We have never learned. An ounce of prevention is worth a
pound of cure.
We’re getting our pants beat off us, and here we go again,
just wait,
Elections
Schools
Terrorists
CRT
Our Universities
Trump’s arrest
Has it dawned on anyone yet that our record is zero for XXXX on
reversing anything that is already done?
Yeah, just wait until Trump is arrested before we scream bloody
murder.
We are the biggest bunch of ….ing losers in history.

DeSantis will allow and even urge anyone to act, if it means getting Trump out of the way. That means a democrat is welcome to take out Trump, or a neverTrump RINO, or Biden. It’s not advantageous for DeSantis to speak against anyone attempting to take out Trump.
Trump is the only one that can take DeSantis out of the race, so, DeSantis would rather take Trump out early, by any means possible.

SILENCE IMPLIES CONSENT.
To: SoConPubbie
This is stupid. If DeSantis were about to be arrested and indicted, do you think Trump would be standing up for him? More likely, he would be piling on.
Being quiet is probably his best course of action for now. Why make yourself the story when you’re not the story?

DeSantis has been extremely quiet in regards to the political prosecution of Trump. He has also said nothing in regard to the Jan 6th defendants, many of whom are Florida residents.
The family of at least one defendant has said they had reached out to the governor’s office and has had no response. Even if there is nothing much DeSantis can do, he should at least express outrage at the obvious political prosecution of people just because they are Trump supporters. The double standards between treatment of democrat supporters and conservatives are glaring!

What has happened about which DeSantis can comment? Trump posts something? Just because an opponent says something, the other is required to react?
Trump is falling into the Dems trap. Calling for protests and getting people on the streets is simply going to feed into the “MAGA extremists” trope.
Why he doesn’t see this is the thing that should draw comments.
But…it’s what old fools do.

DeSantis has zERO OBLIGATION to say ANYTHING.
He’s NOT RUNNING in ‘24.
He’s the Governor of Florida.
He can stay in his own lane, and that may be best.
This crap is all ginned up by the eGOP wall of voodoo trying to goad DeSantis into a bid for the white House in ‘24.
Nuh-uh.
Y’all take a cold shower, and change your BVD’s; it’ll be 2028 at the earliest.

It is good that people are starting to realize the deception in the world of politics, specifically republican politics, by watching what is not done, who does not speak, and what is not being said in the aftermath of a visible effort to indict President Trump by a politically motivated New York district attorney.
The absence of evidence is not evidence of absence; however, the silence tells you something very specific when it comes to politics. The corrupt and manipulative political system is designed to test opinion, that is what most professional politicians do before they take a position. In essence, the ones who wait are the ones who manipulate.
The politicians who wait to express opinions on substantive issues, are the ones who are comfortable operating in the world where manipulation is the tool, and authenticity is something they do not carry. In the biggest of big political pictures, this approach is what supports the maintenance of the professional political system.
Without manipulation as the primary agenda of focus, politicians do not need consultants, polling, managers or branding groups. However, when the creation of an artificial premise, the manipulation itself, is the baseline for the character of the principal, all of these systems are needed. This video by Vivek Ramaswamy has gained a lot of attention, because at the core of the purpose – he is correct. WATCH:
However, the issue extends well beyond individual politicians; the issue goes all the way through the political apparatus into the systems and institutions itself. This is one of the reasons why, when you fine-tune your discernment, you can predict “what systems” are carrying “what motives.”
Remember, CTH outlining the Republican Governors Association (RGA) as one of the manipulative political institutions that was different this time around, for the 2024 race? {Go Deep} It’s not just Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis that you should notice. Pay attention to the specific silence, positioning and wind-testing that is taking place from within that entire network of the Republican Governors Association. There’s the *tell* that indicates I was correct.
The good news is that President Trump can also see it. [LINK]
Why they wait….
The professional republicans follow the instructions of the professional republican control agents. Those control officers are waiting to see if the predictions do come true, and if President Trump is actually indicted. They want the opportunity for the dates to pass without action so they can use the absence of an indictment as a political tool to advance their narrative against Trump.
The publicity of the statements by Trump and the Mainstream Media, may actually influence the decision by Alvin Bragg and the New York City DA’s office. However, for the purposes of the RGA and the characters intent on controlling the 2024 GOP nomination, that aspect will be ignored in favor of driving a bigger wedge between Ron DeSantis and President Trump in the absence of an indictment.
DeSantis branding is all about these types of consultant advisors. This is why I said do not look for a statement from him. It’s the same reason why the DeSantis managers kept him in a bunker for five days after the Mar-a-Lago raid. This approach is all about manipulation and narrative creation.
World War Reddit and Ron DeSantis have something identical in common. It’s the same playbook, the creation of an illusion.
Once you see how much planning goes into these types of operations, then you begin to realize the scope of the financial interests that are involved. There are trillions at stake.
