DeSantis has been extremely quiet in regards to the political prosecution of Trump. He has also said nothing in regard to the Jan 6th defendants, many of whom are Florida residents.
The family of at least one defendant has said they had reached out to the governor’s office and has had no response. Even if there is nothing much DeSantis can do, he should at least express outrage at the obvious political prosecution of people just because they are Trump supporters. The double standards between treatment of democrat supporters and conservatives are glaring!

True, and what’s even more glaring is the fact that our criminal justice system has been so severely damaged that defendants who have not been convicted of any crime are suffering abuses in prisons while they are being denied all legal representation to which they are entitled by law!
