In business this is called “riding it down.” Happens in the restaurant biz all the time. Great place. Booming business. Some group buys it out, stops reinvesting in it, just takes the profits month after month. Sucks the place dry until they’re forced to close. Then they move on.

I kind of agree with you on that.

The illegal changes in voting procedures and outright fraudulent voting by people who were not legally eligible to vote in various swing states should have been the focus of all the discussion after Election Day. The graphic posted below is all anyone needed to know about the election farce. Most of those numbers are very specific -- which means they came from research that identified exactly how many illegal votes were cast in those categories.

Once these nitwits began running around talking about rigged Dominion voting machines and foreign hacking from Germany or Venezuela, the whole thing went off the rails. There was no way that could ever be proven, and in many cases the stories were clearly phony. It has exposed all of these characters to a pile of legal troubles.

Unlike Dobbs, Cavuto and Payne actually discuss business and finance on a business network.

Remember when Cavuto trashed HCQ. How many people died when the cabal made HCQ a no-go?

Cavuto should stick to discussing business.

I think his boys are far left and more in charge now?

I remember the scene in Citizen Kane where he says at the rate he’s losing money on his newspaper, he’ll have to close it down in 100 years.

Meaning they don’t give a dam..bezos and others..they are rich beyond wildest dreams and can lose forever with their news outlets.

And that sucks.

You have to get a contract with a cable operator. It involves a lot more than flipping a switch.

(I worked building an operating CATV systems for about 15 years. This was my life.)

I stopped watching them all.

Watching any of them supports the liberal agenda. Stop it!

Tucker and them all will survive. They can get jobs on oan or newsmax.

It’s only a matter of time before Big Media is nationalized. And they’ll welcome it.

The PURGE.

Fox News Axes Lou Dobbs’ Show; Top-Rated Pro-Trump Host Not Expected Back on the Air

Fox News has canceled ‘’Lou Dobbs Tonight,’’ the program hosted by one of the media’s most steadfast supporters of Donald Trump and the former president’s claims of voter fraud, the Los Angeles Times reported Friday.
Dobbs’ program, which has been airing twice nightly at 5 and 7 p.m. ET on the Fox Business Network, will be replaced next week with ‘’Fox Business Tonight,’’ with rotating substitute hosts Jackie DeAngelis and David Asman, who filled in for Dobbs on Friday. This, according to a Fox rep who confirmed the news to the Times.

Dobbs, 75, remains under contract at Fox News, the newspaper said, but his future on the conservative news network is murky.

The cancellation comes a day after a large voting software company, Smartmatic, filed a $2.7 billion defamation suit against Fox News and three of its hosts — Dobbs, Maria Bartiromo and Jeanine Pirro. The company said the hosts helped to spread lies about Smartmatic’s role in the presidential election, to the detriment of its reputation and its business.

Fox News has been in turmoil as long-time viewers have abandoned the channel since Election Day. Former President Donald Trump has attributed his election loss to Joe Biden to unfair coverage by Fox News as well as massive voter fraud.

Dobbs was signed to Fox News by its former chief executive Roger Ailes in 2011. As the Times noted, he has long been the company’s most outspoken supporter of Trump’s economic and immigration policies. In the weeks after the election, the paper said, he went on the air to express anger that the Republican Party did not do more to act on claims that the election was rigged in favor of Biden.

The firing of Dobbs will add weight to critics’ claims the network has gone soft backing conservative views.

Fox has also been reeling as its ratings have been in a tailspin as the network has dropped to third place behind CNN and MSNBC.

Newsmax appears to be the main beneficiary as its viewership has soared. Newsmax is now the 4th highest-rated cable news channel in the U.S.

Fox, in response, demoted long-time evening host Martha MacCallum to a day-time slot as Newsmax’s ‘’Greg Kelly Reports’’ has surged.

Lou’s was the only show I tuned into- less than a handful of times, since 11-3. More than happy to completely erase Fox from my memory. And I speak for a number of households.

Might be a troll, taking advantage of a chaotic situation but might not be.

I am not a troll, and that’s why I’m replying to you (miserare) and not the others piling on him (her?) on this thread. But anyone who wishes can look up not only my join date but my posting history, which clearly shows support not only for Trump but any cause or person contrary to the scourge of leftism in this country. Back to 2001.

With that said I agree with what he wrote. On its face I personally believe it’s just not reasonable to claim the election was “stolen” from Trump. As the poster in question subsequently posted, I too also believe there are isolated incidents of fraud but not enough to justify any belief it was stolen from Trump.

See here: https://twitter.com/jonathantcasey/status/1342303141975515136?s=21m

That’s a collection of court cases that demonstrate any significant “evidence” that could be used to justify reversing the election results was indeed investigated by the courts but sadly found to be lacking. IOW, Trump’s losses in court were *not* simply because of some technicality, because of only “standing” or some such, despite what many on the “right” have told us, but at least a good many were thrown out because the evidence itself was lacking. That should be enough for anyone (like me) who values the rule of law over everything (even if such rules deny “my guy”, “the win”).

I too, like “God Guns Country Trump”, believed until late December that the election was stolen from Trump. You (or anyone reading this) can believe that about me or not if you want. But it seems pretty clear to me from what I’ve found even beyond the documents in that Twitter thread that there was no “rock” unturned here. There is much more to be said beyond that collection, and I’ve been mulling posting an entire “vanity” thread about what I’ve found. But that thread is an excellent starting point IMO. A starting point as a way out of all the apparent conspiracy theory nonsense that seems to have taken root even sadly here on FR.

I humbly submit to you (a FReeper I recognize and respect) and anyone reading this now, one must let go this idea that the election was stolen from Trump. He was a great President I’m not saying he wasn’t. But for the sake of simple rationality, I submit its time to move on.

Lou Dobbs is the primary MSM news show that features Tom Fitton from Judicial Watch.

Fitton and Judicial Watch have been the most important Conservative organization in the USA for many years now.

Personally, I felt like Lou Dobbs (age 75) lost his political fast ball more than a few years ago.

I stopped watching him because he often struggled to maintain a coherent conversation with his guests, including his conversations with Tom Fitton.

Saw Shep on a clip I think Hannity showed. He has colored his hair so that it looks pretty good but he’s still a lightweight and always will be.

Maybe he’ll get the Farm News beat, and the sheep will be very nervous if he does.

Not one case was judged on the merits. They were all procedural matters.
