Woman Punches Teen Boy in Walmart For Not Wearing Face Mask
Townhall.com ^ | August 3, 2020 | Todd Starnes

A middle-aged couple is under fire after they berated a group of teenagers and punched one of the boys because they were not wearing face masks inside a Walmart in Post Falls, Idaho.

"You guys are abusing your freedom. Stop it," the woman said just before hitting one of the boys in the shoulder.

The North Idaho News reports that police were contacted and the victim intends to press charges.

"You think this is cute not wearing a mask," the man said. "Get a damn mask and put it on your face."

The woman was literally screaming to anyone who would listen, "Their parents are teaching them this garbage."

Jill Dickenson, the mother of the boys in the video, told North Idaho Exposed in an exclusive interview that she infuriated by the attack. You can watch the interview by clicking here.

"My blood was boiling," she said. "We live in a country that we have freedoms. We have liberties. For my kids to walk into Walmart and get apprehended and accosted the way they did - it's uncalled for.”

She was just as upset with the store's management.

"Walmart did nothing about it," she said. "The employees - some of them stood around laughing - mask shaming with this couple."

Mrs. Dickenson's son said he and his friends were asked to wear masks when they first walked into the store, but they declined to do so. The boys were still allowed in the store.

One of her sons told North Idaho Exposed that the couple approached them and immediately began harassing the boys.

"We hope your grandparents die of COVID," the couple allegedly said.

When they came back, one of the boys turned on his cell phone and recorded the encounter.

"I was angry like any mom would be," Mrs. Dickenson said. “The momma bear came out in me and I'm like, 'Oh no she didn't.'"

The country has gone slap crazy, folks.

Just the other day a woman in Manhattan Beach, California, threw a cup of hot coffee at a man because he was noshing a burrito unmasked.

“It’s hard to eat a burrito with a mask on,” the man tried to explain before his buddy was pelted by piping hot java.

It appears that a good-many folks have come down with a raging case of China Virus Derangement Syndrome and I’m afraid there is no known cure.

“Not even close to a good analogy”

Private business, private home.

Requires mask, requires no smoking.

Whatever.

Thenwimmin are going crazy and think they have the power to do this to anyone they think is doing something wrong.

It's true. They feel they are immune from consequences of anything they do. In my lifetime it's gone from 'they get out of speeding tickets by crying' to 'they get away with physically assaulting people by virtue signaling'.

The whole 'not guilty' thing started for a reason but the truth is it's not just young pretty women thatcan get away with any kind of bad behavior ... and they are pretty much correct I think. The only exception is that if other women decide to rip them to shreds on social media. That is worse than jail to them.

I have the same mask! I’ll try the slits. Makes sense. Mine is pretty gnarly too. Wonder if I can hand wash it?

If they say they are going to do something they need to do it. If they advertise there is a 10% senor discount on Tuesday, they need to honor it on Tuesday. No difference on masks.;

Is that honestly your argument? Go read post 121. Since you seem to have fallen for the lies, let me help you out. Petty little tyrants want to take away our freedom. And there are a number of businesses to help them. Oh, and nosy busybodies. If you don’t follow our commands, you can’t go buy food for your family. Pretty good incentive right?

I don’t think you actually realize how small this virus is. You have to have a SEM, or scanning electron microscope to even see it. Trust me, a lot bigger particles that that are getting out around your mask. Haven’t you ever thought it weird that the stores or govt. don’t have any standards on masks? Any old thing will do. like a homemade t shirt mask?
Please realize this isn’t about protecting anyone. This is solely about control. I have no problem with someone wearing a mask, they may have a dust allergy or something. It is none of my business. But please leave everyone else alone, and stop helping them.

It used to be if kids were acting up like swearing loudly in public, someone could kindly say something to them, like, “What would your Grandma think?” I think that was good. I guess we are beyond that.
***********************************************************************************
Well that old lady looked like she was old enough to be a granny, but kind she was not—she actually told kids including what looked like a toddler that she hoped they all died because they weren’t wearing masks.

I kept my kids under control, and I don’t think I would have appreciated someone trying to shame them with comments about what their granny thought. Mainly because granny was always too lenient with them, and also because reprimanding and teaching my kids correct behavior is MY job, and I prefer to do it myself.

In this care, they were teenagers with no parents around.

and people who go there may be relying on it because they are in a high risk category

If they are in a high risk category, they should be taking it upon themselves for protection, by wearing a proper N-95 mask. Expecting other to wear a mask, of any sort, let alone a cloth one, to protect you is plain lazy and stupid. Cloth masks do not protect anyone from an airborne virus.

I like listening to the 'oldies' of my youth, too.

But I'm not sure that much of today's popular music fulfills the notion that 'Music hath charms to soothe a savage breast, to soften rocks, or bend a knotted oak.'

Yes, but in my initial response, I wrote about the “granny aged” adult petulantly telling young children that she hoped they all died. And their MOM was right there.

Neither one has the right to tell another person’s kids what to do—it’s the store’s responsibility to take care of those kinds of issues if the parent isn’t there.

If _their_ mask works, how can they be affected by someone without one?

Because they are pushing wearing a mask as a way for you to protect others, because you MIGHT be sick. Billboards in the KC area literally say, "I wear mine to protect you. You wear yours to protect me".

Not a lot of talent, in the sense of true singers or music today, is right.....

Oldies do seem to be liked by a broad range of Americans though. At Christmas I played Oldies for a cookie bake with my Grand-Daughters. All three in their 20’s now.......we did the “Stroll” across the kitchen floor together..it was wonderful!

BTW the “Stroll” has the longest run for a line dance in the history of music.

“They let you smoke where you shop?”

I have been wearing a mask since early March whenever I go into a store. I could care less if others wear one or not. But - listening to all of these goofy stories about violence or snotty comments - I was thinking “What if someone lit up a cigarette in a store? What would the reaction be?”

Although I guess the smoking bans are actual laws, not just some government mandate.

I tried that and it works pretty well, but a cheesecloth mask lets even more air through.

Please consider posting a vanity piece on this topic. You probably have a lot of good advice on camera purchases and usage to offer and so would others who would post comments.

It’s stupid that the boys’ mom is trying to press charges. Her sons instigated the situation by disregarding a retailers request that their patrons wear masks in the store to protect store employees.

Sick to death of teens, yoots and their parents thinking rules meant to protect employees don’t apply to them because they’re ‘special’.

If a retailer requests you to wear a mask, do it, or go elsewhere. It doesn’t get much simpler.

I guess the store or the police can handle it. I’m sure your kids will never do anything wrong when you aren’t around. If they did, I am sure you wouldn’t mind going downtown and bailing them out.

Walmart doesn’t require masks to be worn, and the boys declined, as do I. All of us are abiding by Corporate Walmart polices.

You seem to think the assault was justified.

What other reasons are we able to use to justify assaults?

Your wife needs new friends. These people are never going to be there for her in a crisis, especially now. They’ve determined that she is evil incarnate for doubting their gods, Fauci, Cuomo (and all the other deep state politicians like him), and the rest.

An adult has every right to call out an unsupervised minor.

Back in the day, if it got back to your parents (and most people had two of them back then) that some adult had to correct your behavior, you’d get punished twice as hard for shaming the family name. First, mom would light into you, and then it was ‘wait until your father gets home.’ Nowadays, ‘reputation’ and ‘family name’ doesn’t seem to hold much weight.

(calling out meaning it’s ok to call out the behavior but not to scream things like I hope your parents die - that’s just overreacting)

Well, actually my kids are both middle aged now. And no-they NEVER did anything wrong that I had to go down and bail them out. To this day they have NEVER been arrested.

Had they done anything wrong, I’d have beat their rear ends or grounded them for years. And since we were teachers, we always had enough eyes and spys to KNOW what the heck they were actually doing.
