Not a lot of talent, in the sense of true singers or music today, is right.....
Oldies do seem to be liked by a broad range of Americans though. At Christmas I played Oldies for a cookie bake with my Grand-Daughters. All three in their 20’s now.......we did the “Stroll” across the kitchen floor together..it was wonderful!
BTW the “Stroll” has the longest run for a line dance in the history of music.
LOL! My husband was just telling me about hearing his parents talk about doing the ‘stroll’. Seems like an evolution of the ‘Virginia Reel’.
