Barr then goes on to say that the “peaceful protests have been high jacked by violent radical elements.”

“We must have law and order on our streets. It is the responsibility of local and State leadership in the first instance to halt this violence.
“The Department of Justice, including the FBI, US Marshals, the ATF, the DEA and the 93 US Attorneys Offices are supporting local efforts and will continue to them and take all action necessary to enforce Federal Law.
“In that regard it is a Federal Crime to cross State Lines or to use interstate facilities to incite or participate in violent rioting. And we will enforcing those laws. Thank you”

1968 was a tough year. Tet Offensive, Martin Luther King killed, RFK killed, Dem riots at Chicago Dem. Convention, USS Pueblo taken, Soviets cracked down in Czechlovakia and other countries, riots in America.
That’s what I remember and there was probably more. I was 17.

Just heard a business owner declare that after the lockdown and this his business is gone. He estimated 150,000 dollars in damage. He had to call call an adjoining business to let the owner who was upstairs to tell him get out as the building was on fire. He said that upper King Street ( Charleston SC ) is destroyed.
What if you had to do something, that would mean,
someone loses, but everyone else gains.
