Barr starts out stating that the anger from the death of George Floyd is legitimate and is being accounted for both at the State and Federal levels at breakneck speed.
Barr then goes on to say that the “peaceful protests have been high jacked by violent radical elements.”
“Groups of outside radicals and agitators are exploiting the situation to peruse their own separate and violent agenda. In many places it appears that the violence is planned organized and driven anarchic and left wing, far left extremist groups using Antifa like tactics. Many of whom travel outside the State to promote the violence.
“We must have law and order on our streets. It is the responsibility of local and State leadership in the first instance to halt this violence.
“The Department of Justice, including the FBI, US Marshals, the ATF, the DEA and the 93 US Attorneys Offices are supporting local efforts and will continue to them and take all action necessary to enforce Federal Law.
“In that regard it is a Federal Crime to cross State Lines or to use interstate facilities to incite or participate in violent rioting. And we will enforcing those laws. Thank you”

I’m so glad to see that Barr knows that the instigators are crossing state lines (federal offence) and that it’s not just protesters it’s high level anti-America instigators who are pushing and directing this Mayhem and chaos.
