Less than a year after having gender surgery, Nathaniel now says, “This whole thing was a bad idea. I am 19 years old, and I feel as though I have ruined my life.”
It’s heartbreaking each time I get a letter from someone who underwent gender-change surgery and regrets it, especially someone as young as Nathaniel.
With his permission, I’m telling a bit of his story to raise awareness of the young lives being ruined by the rush to surgery, and hoping that hearing the testimony of this young man will influence others on this path to slow down and consider the consequences before consenting to surgery.
In Nathaniel’s case, he says he was bullied by the boys in elementary school because he was sensitive and preferred playing girl games. When he was a bit older, he discovered internet pornography, heard about transgenderism, and as he says, “convinced myself that’s what I was.”
When he finally worked up the nerve to tell his mother in the summer after eighth grade, she made an appointment with, in his words, “a doctor at an informed-consent clinic.”
He started seeing the doctor a week after his 15th birthday, and from how he describes the next years of his teens, I’d say going to the clinic didn’t improve his life.
“From then on,” he says, “I slowly detached from everything until I was just staying home, playing video games, and going on the internet all day. I stopped reading, drawing, riding my bicycle. I surrounded myself in an echo chamber that supported and validated my poor decisions, because the others were also, unfortunately, stuck in that pit, too.”

Schools are run like prisons with the bullies on top. Next to nothing if not actually nothing is done about their abuse of other children and, as they run in packs, there is little a lone child can do to stop them.
It need not be an inner city school. It can be your normal every day school in a middle class neighborhood. Knew one where a young boy was so abused by a pack of girls that he started carrying a knife to protect him self. Sadly he was the one who got in trouble.
This was as far away from an inner-city as you could get. It took a major public outcry before the school grudgingly admitted that the boy had been physically assaulted more then once by the pack and had sustained doctor visit worthy injuries. The attacks had become more and more violent and the school tried to say they had "counseled" one of the girls and so everything was hunky dory.
So when a girl likes boys games and boys toys, why does no one ask, “where’s mom?” It seems it is only an injustice when a boy acts feminine?
I’m sorry but the 1800s are gone, buddy. The gender roles society used to go by are dead.
So, he was watching porn all day. What could possibly go wrong?

I can understand someone who has lived life as a woman for years and years undergoing such a mutilation, but this is horrid.
I knew someone who was required to live, dress, and work as a woman for over a year before he was surgically altered. There seems to be a lemming like rush to physically change gender among medical providers.
Actually a big percent is caused by extreme childhood trauma, especially sexual abuse. They need counseling for being abused as children, not more abuse in the form of gender surgery.
Candace Owens interviews Walt Heyer who did have that operation and then a reversal, and has done many studies of the issue, its causes, and leads a large organization in opposition this terrible process and seeks to help those who regret what they have done. He is speaking out to raise awareness that those who do this have other serious mental issues and this operation will not help them, but make them worse. Not a popular platform in todays upside down world.
What kind of fool thinks chopping up his or her healthy body is ever a good idea? The mentally ill and their enablers, that’s who.

never. changing gender doesn’t protect anyone from bullying. have you seen what girls do to each other?

Very true. A couple evangelical churches should make this tragic young man an on going project for the good of his soul and life.
There are a lot of single dads because mom divorced him.
He doesnt stop being a dad because mom and the courts take his kids away from living with him.

Not much is said about Nathaniels mom who is the biggest total psycho in this story. Godless crazy woman..
All humans are social, and all societies (including dogs, chimps or even rats) distribute status unequally and organize themselves into hierarchies based upon the finest of details. Children most of all. That is absolutely unavoidable and part of the human condition. A child feeling he/she is "low status" or put-upon by others can occur simply because someone commented about the color of their T-shirt.
Its why "bullying" is an empty, catch-all, overused media phrase - a bit like "climate change." IMHO is also a phrase that "educators" use to avoid their own responsibility for bureaucratic, organizational failures, lack of supervision for the children in their charge, and lack of any moral education.
Now that's FUNNY!!!

I won’t disagree that “bulling” has been a problem since Cain and Abel.
It is called ‘life’ and will always be.
BUT, the anti “bullying” jihad is simply a project to suppress free speech.
