Less than a year after having gender surgery, Nathaniel now says, “This whole thing was a bad idea. I am 19 years old, and I feel as though I have ruined my life.”
It’s heartbreaking each time I get a letter from someone who underwent gender-change surgery and regrets it, especially someone as young as Nathaniel.
With his permission, I’m telling a bit of his story to raise awareness of the young lives being ruined by the rush to surgery, and hoping that hearing the testimony of this young man will influence others on this path to slow down and consider the consequences before consenting to surgery.
In Nathaniel’s case, he says he was bullied by the boys in elementary school because he was sensitive and preferred playing girl games. When he was a bit older, he discovered internet pornography, heard about transgenderism, and as he says, “convinced myself that’s what I was.”
When he finally worked up the nerve to tell his mother in the summer after eighth grade, she made an appointment with, in his words, “a doctor at an informed-consent clinic.”
He started seeing the doctor a week after his 15th birthday, and from how he describes the next years of his teens, I’d say going to the clinic didn’t improve his life.
“From then on,” he says, “I slowly detached from everything until I was just staying home, playing video games, and going on the internet all day. I stopped reading, drawing, riding my bicycle. I surrounded myself in an echo chamber that supported and validated my poor decisions, because the others were also, unfortunately, stuck in that pit, too.”

”Transgender regret” is another subject that is often censored.
Any physician who participates in this nonsense is a dangerous ,sick quack.
Seemed like a good idea at the time.
How utterly tragic that this person was hijacked into thinking he should mutilate himself because everyone around him, including the MSM told him this was a great form of true expression.
Further, on one hand we have this grand campaign to "Stop Bullying", and on the other hand these same people insist on bullying everyone into accepting LGBQT as just some harmless expression. Do you see the irony here? People have lost jobs, corporations now kow-tow to this .5% of our society who suffer from an illness.
Once again again a young man in need of support, received indoctrination instead.

The unpopular truth, which Nathaniel unfortunately learned the hard way at a young age, is a man is not a woman and can’t ever become a woman, even with surgically refashioned genitals and feminizing facial surgery.

Being in the eighth grade is not the time for a mother to have her son evaluated for sexual disorders.....She sounds like she was the one leading him down this path rather than understanding what is normal for young kids to naturally have their sex hormones do cartwheels.
The LGBT community has been suscessful in indctrinating society with this travesity of choosing your own sexual gender. For shame on society for accepting this nonsense of destroying kids rather than raising them as children......

I don’t agree. Bullying has always been a big problem in schools and perhaps even a bigger one today with all the social media. Look at all these school shootings. Most of those kids that did it were bullied and outcasted.
If a boy goes to school and acts feminine, he’s going to be bullied. Kids are cruel. And the schools do practically nothing about bullying. In fact, most schools will punish kids for fighting back against a bully. So they are stuck in a no-win situation.
My niece who worked in a psychiatric unit at a local hospital related a similar experience. The guy cut off his penis.........
