On Sunday, Kamala Harris expressed support for new, federally mandated busing policies. I support busing. Listen, the schools of America are as segregated, if not more segregated, today than when I was in elementary school, Harris said. Where states fail to do their duty to ensure equality of all people and in particular where states create or pass legislation that created inequality, theres no question that the federal government has a role and a responsibility to step up.

Are you guys sure of that? This fact was true in the 1970s and 1980s, but those were different parents, from a different generation, who had not embraced the creed and catechism of modern liberalism.
I have some doubt about your assertions and I am not as sanguine as you are. Remember that these are the parents that feel it is not only ok but imperative to subject their children to TG readings in the public library. And take their kids to a "Pride" rally. This would have been unthinkable a generation ago. I think these parents have adopted the new religion of liberalism, and since it is a religion, I am afraid they may feel more obligated now, than 30 years ago, to submit to busing.
My elder brother of 3 years was bused to a majority black school. He got beat up all the time there. I was terrified of going to the same High School but mom moved us away. She remained a liberal but at least was unwilling to sacrifice her own kids to this particular tyranny.
I remember hearing about the Boston riots on the news.

She isn’t in favor of Free Association is she?
The Uber Lefties living in the exclusive Upper East Side of Manhattan revolted when the Department of Education wanted to ship in poor black and Hispanic kids into the rich kids neighborhood public schools.
Maybe it is because most Americans do not want to live in the inter-city where they will have to fight for their lives on a daily basis, mainly in gun fights. Maybe we like living in a quiet, free, without gangs roaming the streets every minute, breaking into our homes, yada, yada. Maybe it is something like that you dumb slut. How many abortions did you have before you were 18?? Four, five??
Yes, but what year was that? I know the old history from the 1970s and 1980s well...
“Bussing is universally deeply unpopular.”
Perhaps she’s arguing for the recently popular racial segregation.
Or she dislikes kissing (bussing).
Keep the students; bus the teachers. And bus the colleges, too.
Just recently. One of the leaders of the fight is the husband of Leftie “Talk Show Host” Samantha Bee. I got my geography wrong, it is the Upper West Side. There are storied about the same fight in areas of Brooklyn.

SHE LIED: Kamala Harris Says She Was in Second Integrated Class in Berkeley But Yearbook Pictures Prove Shes Lying

They’ve gone stark raving mad.
On Sunday, Kamala Harris expressed support for new, federally
mandated busing policies. I support busing.

Yep a lot would support busing back towards the southern Border.
As far as prejudice goes, I doubt that works. If white kids know about black people only from TV programs and commercials, they may have a better opinion of them than from knowing real-life individuals.
I suspect Julian Castro will shortly announce busing in the opposite direction as the centerpiece of his campaign.
Exactly....................
Yep, they’ll volunteer for it just for the Facebook virtue signalling.
Upper middle class white liberals support busing as long as it isn't to their neighborhood and to their kids' school. If Kamala keeps hammering on this issue as something universal, she'll (thankfully) scare away everyone except hardened race-baiters and Antifa types.
Are the crappy schools crappy because they are full of teens, or parents of teens, or are the teachers just bad at every single school with greater than 50% teen?
I think it would be fun to run an ad campaign blaming the teachers.
