Employees who work in the public eye who force themselves to smile for customers or hide feelings of annoyance may be susceptible to heavy drinking after hours, according to a new study.

I worked in Service delivery for nearly 40 years.
I stopped drinking years ago. Delivering good service has so little to do with smiling that you dont have to fake it.
Do it right. On time. For the promised price.
If you do that, your customers will barely care that they had to talk to you. Which is good because after 40 years I can barely stand to be around customers.
