Ronan Farrow and Jane Mayer have released a report in the New Yorker from a second woman accusing Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct — and this time it includes a dildo.
The 53-year-old accuser Deborah Ramirez told the New Yorker that she was initially hesitant to speak out because she was drunk at the time and her memory had gaps. She spent six days “carefully assessing her memories” and consulting with her attorney before going public.
Ramirez said that, when both she and Kavanaugh were freshmen at Yale, she was invited by a friend on the women’s soccer team to a dorm-room party. She recalled that the party took place in a suite at Lawrance Hall, in the part of Yale known as the Old Campus, and that a small group of students decided to play a drinking game together. “We were sitting in a circle,” she said. “People would pick who drank.” Ramirez was chosen repeatedly, she said, and quickly became inebriated. At one point, she said, a male student pointed a gag plastic penis in her direction. Later, she said, she was on the floor, foggy and slurring her words as that male student and another stood nearby. (Ramirez identified the two male onlookers, but, at her request, The New Yorker is not naming them.)
A third male student then exposed himself to her. “I remember a penis being in front of my face,” she said. “I knew that’s not what I wanted, even in that state of mind.” She recalled remarking, “That’s not a real penis,” and the other students laughing at her confusion and taunting her, one encouraging her to “kiss it.”

The smart ones see through their tactics but there are a lot of really dumb people out there and you can be sure the media will go wild with this.
Under these terms, no male member of the GOP will ever be able to be confirmed to any position, and no female member of the GOP can be confirmed as being unqualified, no matter what her qualifications actually are.
And that’s it unless the GOP develops a spine. Why Trump hasn’t addressed this from the oval office and called out Democrats about how transparent and childish this is, I don’t know.
Whoever is advising Trump is a Deep State plant.
Unless this is a grand encirclement strategy on his part, which I can't yet rule out.

& how opportune that this “allegation” was waiting in the wings right after Kav said he had detailed calendars to prove his innocence.
The only way to make this stop is debunk the first allegation (I think that's already been done), and then refuse to hear any others that aren't made in sworn statements.
Im not even sure what this would qualify as. Drunken college kids doing something stupid (even if it happened which obviously according to witnesses it did not).

When it comes to abortion and ANY threat (real or imagined) to the absolute right of a woman to kill her unborn baby at any stage for any reason, the ends justify the means for these people!

Liberals are training Republicans that if they want to get Supreme Court justices confirmed they will have to nominate liberal judges - like when President Bush nominated Republican David Souter.
Those kind of justices will go through in a hurry. All that is need is someone like President Jeb Bush, or President Jeff Flake, or President John Kasich.

Yes, ala Roy Moore. Ford has flamed. Feinstein has now demanded there be no hearing until this is investigated. Avanatti is supposed to provide another woman tomorrow. This will not stop unless Grassley puts his foot down or the FBI makes it clear they will prosecute all false allegations.
They are going to drag this out until after the election.
I love Kav, and hope someday he’s on the Court, but this is dead, at least for right now.
At least there will be a long “investigation”, and who knows who will come “forward” to relate some college tail.
Is there time to nominate someone else and have him confirmed before Jan?
I went to college in the ‘60s - good thing I never aspired to be on the Supreme Court.
