In an impassioned letter released exclusively today to AL.com, Leigh Corfman, who accused Roy Moore of undressing her when she was 14 and he was 32, demanded the Republican Senate candidate stop calling her a liar, and attacking her character and end his "smears and false denials."
AL.com received a copy of the letter in person from Corfman. She declined to comment beyond what was contained in the letter.
"I am not getting paid for speaking up. I am not getting rewarded from your political opponents. What I am getting is stronger by refusing to blame myself and speaking the truth out loud," the letter states.

Bloomberg started dating his wife when she was 16. He was 25.
Someone told me that you can put anyone’s name on that site. This is not good evidence because anyone can put her name there, even if she didn’t attend that high school at that time.
I checked out Classmates.com too. She was a ‘79 grad. She also said she was 15 when she worked at the restaurant. Alabama law was working age was 16. Many other holes in her story.
This women is a nut case and it appears now a big chunk of Alabama knows it.
Why don’t you try some historical context and basic demographics? Mr. Moore served in the military (including Vietnam), came home and went to lawschool, eating up his twenties.
By the time he hit the dating market in 1977 Alabama, fully 2/3’s of women in their 20’s were married. So the 16-19 year old bracket would have been the most plentiful and obvious group of single eligible females for courtship.
Where does Doug Jones immorality end?

Various people without direct personal knowledge confirming a reputation fueled by gossip are not usually first choice in establishing facts about someone’s actual behavior.
Spare me your “outrage”. I want some proof on a 40 year old allegation of sexual assault.
A 32 year old dating a mature 16, 17 or 18 year old is odd, but not a crime. He is 14 years older than his wife of 30 years.

If she is 29 years old, then 2017-29 = 1988. If Roy was in his 30’s in ‘1970’s, she wasn’t even born yet!
I was referring to the female tendency to lie about their age. The old saw was that women would say they were 29 for every birthday after they were 29.
