Giving the US a Muslim Senator will probably be too much for a Democrat governor to resist. A better choice would be Walter Mondale. It was the Senate seat he used to hold, and the one he lost to Norm Coleman in 2002 after Wellstone’s death. He is 89 and a widower...which might mean he would not try to run again in 2020.

This is more than a twofer for democrats... They’re going to use their new found ‘concern’ for everyday women as a sledgehammer to take out Republicans, democrats they don’t like, and Trump if they can. Franken’s toast.
Democrats are vile... as they’ve always been... Sessions should go after every one of ‘em.
