Hatred of Bush Unites Muslims and Liberals
SeaMax News ^ | 11/15/2006 | Christopher Guzzo

The victory party for Minnesota’s first black congressman Keith Ellison, a Muslim, took place at trendy nightclub in Minneapolis’s downtown warehouse district. This nightclub was a place were gays and straights look to get picked up, a controversial place to hold a victory party to say the least.

It is certainly not the kind of place where any self-respecting Muslim would normally be found. But on this occasion, drably dressed, bearded Muslim men rubbed shoulders with stylish women in revealing outfits, the latter drinking plenty of alcohol.

The reason for this curious gathering is not hard to figure out. Muslim Americans in Minnesota and throughout the nation have been forging a coalition with liberals on issues like those articulated by Congressman-elect Ellison: universal health insurance, tougher environmental regulation, opposition to the Patriot Act and an immediate end to the war in Iraq.

Since 9/11, Time news reported that secular liberals and culturally conservative Muslims are united to oppose Bush’s policies at home and abroad. This is rather ironic since the Muslims prior to 9/11 favored Bush’s pro-life policies and his opposition to gay marriage. Now these same people are having a victory party in a gay night club.

It remains to be seen, of course, whether this coalition will last. But if their anger at the Bush Administration and its policies is any guide, then Muslim Americans will not soon break with their new-found liberal allies.

First the Islamonuts will defeat the forces of conservatism which defend the traditional values of western civilization; and then they'll kill all the liberals.

Why is this not surprising? I do hate to say it, but I think the change in the house and sentate will be a good thing. At least Wall Street thinks so... It will only be bad if we see a Dem president in 2008 along with the current power shift. Then I know our enemies will make moves that will cause me loss of sleep.

I've been watching liberal forums over the past week. They're filled with nothing but venom and an insatiable lust for revenge....on Bush and conservatives. There's virtually no mention of terrorism.

This is another one to tuck in that front shirt pocket for 2008, Ellison could very easily become a boogey man in the upcoming elections.

The reason that there is virtually no mention of terrorism is to them we [Conservatives] are the enemy. The ones we call terrorists, they call allies.

The Communists in the United States protested talk of war against Nazi Germany too. Until Hitler betrayed their beloved Joseph Stalin.

Well, for all the "dunderhead" and "dunce" labels the left likes to tag onto the POTUS, their obsessive hatred only means that these once disparate groups are PWNED by the Commander-In-Chief.

I think that once Bush leaves, it will end up becoming worse for them. They'll have to find something to fill that large soul hole they have.

A means to an end. The anarchists need chaos to overthrow our constitutional form of government and that is what their sedition has been about for the entire 20th century.

They threw bombs in the 1920s and again prominently in the 1960s and 1970s.

Why WOULDN'T they partner with Islamic supremacist terrorists?
