Ellison cancelled an interview with the New York Times because he found out the paper was going to ask him about his ties to Louis Farrakhan.
The first Muslim elected to Congress, Ellison wrote articles in defense of Farrakhan when he was a student at the University of Minnesota Law School and, by 1998, described himself as a member of the Nation of Islam and went by the name Keith Ellison-Muhammad, according to The Weekly Standard.

Anyone got any info over Ellison’s district in Minnesota? What communities/neighborhoods does his district cover there? How many mosques, synagogues, churches, ballparks, bars, etc?
