Of course a Muslim is standing up for atheists, they’re both for the destruction of Christianity. (Though not all atheists are.)

“It’s almost like the Reichstag fire, kind of reminds me of that. After the Reichstag was burned, they blamed the Communists for it and it put the leader of that country [Hitler] in a position where he could basically have authority to do whatever he wanted. The fact is that I’m not saying [Sept. 11] was a [U.S.] plan, or anything like that because, you know, that’s how they put you in the nut-ball box — dismiss you.”

The fact is that I'm not saying [Sept. 11] was a [U.S.] plan, or anything like that because, you know, that's how they put you in the nut-ball box -- dismiss you." So is he saying that 9/11 wasn't a US plan because he believes that OR because he doesn't want to be dismissed?

Ellison shouldn’t have felt the need to hold anything back...he’s already squarely in “the nut-ball box”.

Its a good thing the Rapture didnt happen while he was with that crowd of atheists. There would have been dead silence in that room, no activity at all, except that Satan would have been laughing loud.

I hate when people say this kind of crap. He's saying Bush orchestrated this to justify military actions against innocent people. Then he says he isn't saying that, because he's smart enough to recognize most Americans start hearing the Twilight Zone music when people say that crap.
It's more troubling to me that this guy is a member of Congress. People elected him. That bothers me tremendously.

He is clearly saying that he can’t speak freely about it because he doesn’t want to be dismissed.
