Trump: Cincinnati Zoo didn’t “have a choice” to kill gorilla Harambe

Donald Trump said the Cincinnati Zoo didn’t “have a choice” when it killed Harambe, the gorilla that held a young boy who jumped into the exhibit on Saturday.

“I think it’s a very tough call,” Trump said during a press conference. “It was amazing because there were moments with the gorilla, the way he held the child, it was almost like a mother holding a baby. It looked so beautiful and calm.”

Harambe was killed after it dragged the 4-year-old boy who’d crawled through a barrier and fell into the Gorilla World enclosure.

Several news organizations, including CNN, reported the presidential candidate’s comments.

“And there were moments where it looked pretty dangerous,” Trump said. “I don’t think they had a choice.”

How about asking Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders the same question?

Exactly.

[ I saw the video of the gorilla slinging that child through the water like a rag doll, the child is lucky to be alive. ]

If the zoo hadn’t taken out the gorilla to save the kid and the kid was injured or died the same people would be whining about “ how a black kid was injured or killed so that white people could see the gorillas at the zoo.”

Screw the SJWs.....

I don’t blame the Zoo personnel for doing what they thought was necessary, I blame the parent(s) of the child for not keeping him under watch at all times. They caused the incident with their irresponsibility and it resulted in the death of a majestic, endangered and innocent animal.........................

After viewing that video anyone who still thinks they should not have killed the gorilla...they have serious mental function defects...

I know it a strange concept to some people, but Silverback gorillas are wild animals...

There is big money in poaching and wildlife trafficking is a huge reason captive breeding programs are necessary.

They’re actually upset because they didn’t get the outcome you suggest.

A tragedy happened at the Pittsburgh Zoo several years ago when a young boy approximately 3 years old tumbled over the barrier of the viewing stand into the enclosure below where some species of wild dogs or coyotes killed the boy before zoo workers could save him. The child’s mother had held him up and stood him on the top of the barrier so he could see better. The child was attacked immediately when he hit the ground. There’s no time to lose. I’m sure in this current case that zoo workers had the Pittsburgh tragedy in mind when they acted fast.

Much as I love gorillas and hate people (yep, that’s right), they had no choice but to kill the gorilla.

I mourn the loss of the gorilla, I feel very badly for the person who had to shoot him, I’m very happy that the innocent baby did not meet a horrible fate at the hands of the gorilla.

And I am so disgusted with the puke parents I could spit in their faces. Idiots.

Zoos really need to go out of their way to make sure that their animals are 100% protected against the people looking at them.

They need to design the enclosures in such a way that there is no possible way for anyone to get anywhere near them. It’s ridiculous that his happened.

But, once again, I am very glad that the baby is okay, because had this gone otherwise, it could have been a true horror.

Apparently black lives don’t matter as much as the life of a wild animal to liberals.

Scratch a liberal thin skin and you find what they are made of.

Once the kid was in the Gorilla pen in the grips of the gorilla, what else could you do? You had to save the child.

Remember the woman that was blinded and had her face chewed off by a chimpanzee? This was a gorilla, larger and more powerful.

But it should never have gotten to that point. The parents should have watched their kid and the zoo should not have exhibits that kids can get into.

What kind of question is that for a presidential candidate?

What kind of answer is this from a presidential candidate?

“It was amazing because there were moments with the gorilla, the way he held the child, it was almost like a mother holding a baby. It looked so beautiful and calm.”

The appropriate answer to the question posed to the presumptive Republican nominee would have been; “No opinion. Not a federal or presidential issue. Next question”.

The villages that received substantial support from controlled hunts are now dying of starvation. Thank you NYT for apartheid.
