Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump said Wednesday that he was open to raising the federal minimum wage, breaking with the prevailing view of his party.
Im actually looking at that because I am very different from most Republicans, Mr. Trump said in an interview on CNNs. You have to have something that you can live on.

Disappointing....
Well, that didn’t take long.
I’m not mad about it.
Not a deal breaker.
The minimum wage should be pegged to inflation. Would take away the issue.
You can’t have an open border and no minimum wage. That is a recipe for economic and social suicide.
And he wants to keep small businesses here?
This won’t help at all.
How- minimum wage cost jobs.... how would pegging it to inflation help?
Not long at all.
Didn’t even wait for the convention.
I knew he would veer left, I only questioned how soon and how hard.
He was pretty quick to pull the trigger, now it just remains to be seen if Der Trump veers left or makes a hard left turn.
I’m betting hard left turn.
How is no minimum wage a recipe for suicide?
Trump, speaking with CNN for the first time as the presumptive GOP nominee, offered a glimpse of how he will seek to expand his appeal beyond the Republican primary electorate to whom he has catered his campaign platform.
Asked whether he would consider raising the minimum wage, Trump said he is “looking at that” and “open to doing something with it,” despite claiming months earlier that he opposed raising the minimum wage because the U.S. needs to keep wages low to compete with foreign countries.
“I’m actually very different from most Republicans” on the issue, Trump said in the interview Wednesday.

Larry Elder has been quite Trump-friendly.
It will be interesting to see what Elder says.
Labor is like any other cost for a businesses and is subject to inflation too. Free Traitors should have seen this coming. The problem: Close all the factories and wealth creation and leave the USA with McService Jobs. You could see this coming from miles away.
You’d have every beaner pouring across the border working fore $2.00 an hour. The social cost would be enormous. As it is now at least with a min wage they cannot totally undercut the US worker.
Labor is worth what an employer is willing to pay for it. The prospective employee decides if that number is worth his labor or not. This is called the labor market and it works most efficiently without you or the government.
It’s all hot air. Take everything said on these side bar issues with a grain of salt.
The minimum wage will always go up. Saying he’s open to it is like saying he’s open to the sun coming up in the morning.
You myopic idiot. This isn’t a theoretical class in economics. Having an open border with Mexico makes labor an unlimited resource and that has no value. If you eliminate both border and minimum wage then we don’t have a country. But I do not expect traitors to understand any of this or care about having a country.
Gun control cave within 6 months.
