Jim Bakker had his “problems” and few were as verbal about it that Jimmy Swaggart...
Swaggart railed againt Jim Bakker with a “righteous” vengengence...week after week...and many of the Christians got behind him repeating in churches in whispers what was said...
then after the Bakkers were destroyed it was discovered that Swaggart was not slow to have his own little adulterous affairs picking up prostitutes for one night stands in his car etc...
and so Swaggart breaks down on his TV show and cries like a baby (somewhat like Beck but a bit more finesse)
and a whole lot of Christians were turned off from Christianity...Swaggart had a huge following on TV and at his Christian university in Louisianna for years..
Funny thing about Jimmy Swaggart...he was 1 of 3 boy cousins who were all taught to play the piano by the same Christian aunt or grandmother...
Jerry Lee Lewis became a successful rock star playing piano but he fooled around with and married a 13 year old girl...
Mickey Gilley played piano in his own western saloon complete with a barrel bull...and women...
the only one who seemed to keep to his very deep Christian roots was Jimmy Swaggart and so he did seem to for many years playing the piano and singing his own songs and preaching the gospel...
and so Jimmy Swaggart was the fair haired boy of the family for many years...decades...
Then in the mid 1980s came the Bakker fiasco in charlotte, NC and Jimmy came out and roundly condemned the unfortunate Bakkers who found their friends and support evaporated overnight, many afraid to stay due to Swaggarts longoing condemnations...
Then in the summer of 1987 it all came out about Swaggart and his extra women...I’ll always remember being told of the news just breaking on the radio...We were in Daytona Beach, FL witnessing on the beach there when one of the local Christians had heard it as they drove down...
Jim Bakker went to prison and his wife Tammy Faye divorced him and remarried...
I followed the Bakkers story for a while and was sorry for them..but I was disgusted with Swaggart so how he faired I could care less...
and so now we have much the same situation with Trump and Cruz...

Katrina Pierson (named as one of Cruz’s alledged mistresses and also a Trump campaign spokesperson) has said this is 100% false, and that’s good enough for me. I’m a Trump supporter and I’d love there to be a Cruz scandal, just to get this primary season over with and allow Trump to focus on the real enemy!
But Katrina Pierson is a Trump Campaign spokesperson who has been tremendously effective when speaking on his behalf and after listening to her speak a number of times, I find her to be totally believable. She seems like the ultimate truth teller to me. She also seems strong, clear headed and sharp as a tack, and the very last person you would ever expect to get involved in a sordid campaign trail sex scandal, or be attracted to a Ted Cruz. If I’m wrong about this I’ll literally eat my hat.
I also believe Trump had absolutely nothing to do with this story - for one thing, he has a first hand account from his respected spokesperson that it’s not true, so it would be stupid to risk being blamed for with any part of a false smear attempt. Secondly, if he knows it’s not true, he would not drag Pierson through the mud, since he obviously has a lot of respect for her.
This is a nothing burger.

The story is doing great for Ted Cruz's numbers. Cruz's poll numbers in both Wisconsin and nationally have SHOT UP since Trump the disgusting creepy con man from New York started attacking the Harvard MBA, highly accomplished Heidi Cruz. Watch TRump’s already record high negatives climb to even new highs as his odious behavior gets even more exposure.

Michael Savage said today on his radio show that the National Enquirer story smearing Ted Cruz is completely false, and he knows this based on a source he says he would trust with his life. Savage points out that Cruz is rightly offended over this utter garbage.
But even more so, Savage says that he abhors these attempts of assassination by innuendo, as it has been done to him, and while he doesn’t blame Trump for the story, he threatens to withdraw his support of Trump if he doesn’t completely disavow the story and the man who owns the National Enquirer, David Pecker.
