Ted Cruz is a lying snake in the grass. Instead of blaming Trump, how about blaming the true culprits...George Soros, Move On.org, and Commie Sanders ? Ted prefers to cozy up with them.

I caught this in last night’s debates on CNN.

There is a primary difference between Cruz and Trump.

Trump tends to use moxy as a time delay while he assesses the situation in negotiating the deal. He speaks what comes to his mind, but he might be measuring several factors along a grayscale as to their importance and uses them to weigh his skills in negotiating a winning deal. Trump might not scale things in absolute values, unless the situation fails to measure up to his negotiation. Then he might simple cast an all out opposition or favoritism for one side or another.

Cruz on the other hand, came out of Princeton and Harvard, has clerked for Supreme Court Justices and has honed a fine skill of debate, to the point of arguing several cases before the Supreme Court and Debating in Congress. Cruz has a well tuned ability to listen to his opponent, pick up on weaknesses or contradictions in his opponents historical presentation and argue the inconsistency in debate to win an argument with his opponent.

The problem with Cruz arguing with Trump, his that he fails to exercise wherewithal to argue the points important to the public, rather than seeking to simply winning an argument. The points Cruz will win are indeed sincere, they just frequently don’t matter in the grander scheme.

The problem with Trump, is that Cruz is more likely to argue a point from righteousness, while Trump will pick a side if his negotiations aren’t proving trustworthy. Trump is more likely to reinforce a morally degenerate position if his negotiations fail to prevail otherwise.

IMHO, I really don’t know at this point which one is the better choice. I favor Cruz for ethical reasons, but worldly enforcement of authority is probably better served by Trump, although Trump is probably more likely to endorse much more damaging arrogant behaviors.

To blame Trump is insanity....These protesters want to exercise the tyranny political correctness to extinguish free speech. They invaded a private Trump event...it was his party and opened it to everyone.

To survive the event in Chicago this evening and come home to watch news and be treated to seeing Cruz blaming Trump really pissed me off. Cruz hides behind suburban $120+ plate events in the suburbs. If he held an open event in Chicago, there would be protesters.

Trump was part of the democrat machine

What?

I was taking you seriously, right up until that point.

History 101:

Trump was a high level business mogul, not a politician. Like every other high level business mogul in this country (and others), he donated to politicians on both sides, just to keep their bloody fangs out of his hide, and to keep his enterprises safe from bureaucratic hit men.

He's discussed this many times, and does not hide the fact that he was forced to do business with politicians, or suffer the consequences. It's a system he abhors.

As opposed to seeing who Trump really is?

I don’t think any of them are perfect. Far from it. But a New York liberal who has held many positions that are the opposite of my own is not my idea of Presidential material.

Trump is an oportunist. He will do anything to make money. That’s one more reason not to trust him.

The funny thing is, I kept wondering what the way a goodly number of Cruz supporters made their arguments (calling Trump voters stupid) meant about Cruz. (Yes, there are some annoying Trump supporters too, but Cruz seems to have the far larger number relative to the number of his supporters.) Surely, when you are decidedly in the minority, and need to convince a good chunk of the majority to come over to your side, calling the majority dumb is not wise!

Now (yesterday) Cruz does basically the same thing. And he sort of repeats it with this statement tonight: As if Trump supporters cannot think for themselves, are easily stirred to violence, and so on.

What would really be hilarious, if all this was not so serious, is that if Trump even hints at flexibility or softening a position, the Cruzers go wild. And in reality, there is some truth to that: Cruz is the (Pub) candidate who most sounds like a harsh, rigid ideologue. I like most of his positions on issues, but on a personal level, particularly when I hear him on radio, I can’t imagine most voters as thinking he’s a likeable person.

I keep telling myself “I told you so!”

I’ve been “on to” Cruz since the GoldmanSachs/Loan/WifeWorksForGS&CFR... But I still had him as my 2nd choice. I feel like such a “low information” (where did I hear that) that I ever believed Cruz in the first place.

I think, as a Trump supporter, being called “low information and not engaged in the political process” by Cruz was worse than when BHO called Pennsylvanians who gave Hillary her last primary win in 08 “bitter clingers holding fast to their guns and religious and who don’t have a lot of empathy for people who aren’t like them...”

At least Obama thought people like me knew what empathy means...

...people are caring less and less for Rush and his opinion.

I was rained out this week, so had more time to listen than usual. I also tried to pay more attention than I normally do. Rush really surprised me with his subtle (but unmistakable) bias towards Cruz.

I'd read about it in recent months, but this week was the first time I confirmed it for myself. It's really there, which surprises me.

Sounds like a system where donors are "beholden" to politicians.

But I thought I heard it was the other way around.

Great point. Ever since Ceuz partnered with Beck, I have said that Cruz has poor judgement. It has gotten worse since then.
