The GOP is doing its damnedest to lose this election
March 3, 2016 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 03/03/2016 10:45:08 AM PST by Jim Robinson

Keep blasting away at your leading candidate and trying to thwart the will of your voters, you will lose any chance at winning the presidency and you'll lose the House and Senate too.

Leftist open-borders RINOs Romney, McCain and the so-called GOP "leaders" are complete idiots.

They don't call it the stupid party for nothing.

““I think Walker and Cruz lost out in large part because they were too poor to self-finance a campaign”

The Walker campaign raised a great deal of money. They had the support of several wealthy donors and a large fund raising operation.”

I had not heard this. I don’t recall ever hearing a message for Walker, who was my original first choice for President.

But I am not so sure he will attack Trump like that.

I hope you're right. Ted already has damaged himself enough with last weeks fiasco

And Romney gave up the game plan. Just vote for Kasich in Ohio, Rube in FL, whoever is leading in other states as long as it’s not Trump.

Funny thing is that Trump is leading in all of the other states coming up. The establishment is going to look awfully bad when they have to grovel to become relevant again.

I agree with you. I will vote for whoever is nominated by the Republicans because I will not vote for either Communist or fail to oppose them by staying at home. Not that I have faith in any of them, but I will vote.

Until the voting started, genius ... #facepalm

"Look, Trump will get the bulk of Cruz’s support with him or without him. If Cruz honestly is what he claims to be, he’s on the same side as Trump. It makes sense for him to make peace."

You Trump fans keep ignoring the point. This isn't about Cruz accepting. It's about Trump offering.

If Trump offers Cruz a Supreme Court, it will confirm that Trump is the biggest liar of all the candidates. And the Trump cultists are proud of the fact that they don't care.

Trump won't be getting my vote, regardless of who he tries to bribe for delicates. However, if Cruz were to accept any such bribe from Trump, I would never support him again.

I find that comment a contradiction, given how Ted Cruz is supposed to be so hated by the GOPe and the Elites in DC. How does that square with the GOPe donor cabal funding him?

Mitt just did Trump a H-Y-U-U-U-U-U-G-E favor. Trump has been on at least half a dozen networks for over half an hour with who knows how many millions of people watching. He never would have gotten this type of audience without Mitt’s help. And all of the networks are afraid to cut away because they know if they do... their audience will switch to another network. Donald knows this and he his now running with it and giving his entire stump speech on air on half a dozen networks or more just before the “debate”. I think he is actually talking longer than normal. This is great and just shows why Trump keeps going up and up and up in the polls. They will be studying this election for generations.

I don’t like the man. I don’t like the fact that he is vulgar. I don’t like the fact that he recently held liberal positions. That said, with Romney’s comments, Trump is now my protest vote. For now. Fellow Conservatives will have to join me in a holding his feet to the fire if he wins our nomination and becomes our president. I reserve the right to change my mind if additional information comes in requiring me to do so.

Who’d a thunk it, that all it would take was a speech from Romney to heal much of the rift between the Trump & Cruz factions on FR? lol

Willard isn't all that vulgar in public, is he? Otherwise, you encapsulate my sentiments exactly.

flicking through channels and caught the end of it. I was B/S and came on here and the misses turned the channel so I could not rewind it.

Yes and the headline at the bottom was. Cruz welcomes Romney’s babble.

We will see tonight .
