The press was forbidden from filming Hillary Clinton boarding her private plane, said an ABC reporter covering the leading Democratic candidate.

Speculation immediately turned to her health. Maybe Trump knows something we don’t.

It has been pointed out for months that Hillary almost never uses steps. She can approach a podium if there is a short step or two, but that’s it. Apparently the stroke affected her balance or her vision or her legs in such a way that she stands a good chance of falling if she uses stairs.

I imagine she could go up the ramp into the plane on her own power, holding the rails, but to an observer she would be obviously struggling and not performing the action in a normal way. It’s bad “optics”. (Probably in more than one way!)

It would be just ‘turrbull’ if the former first lady tripped walking up the steps, grabbed Huma’s jacket, and sent them both sommersaulting down, down down the stairs, entangled in necklaces, catheters and hidden microphone wires. Just turrbull!

Since they let the press film her getting off the plane, probably just a simple problem like she soiled herself in the car, and they didn’t want pictures until she was cleaned up and put on new clothes. Or she had a little too much to drink in the car, and they needed to sober her up.
