Trump will still win the Drudge who won the debate poll even if Trump doesn’t participate.

It would take Levin at least 90 mins to even ask a question, especially if goes on a Trump rant.

You think a REAL CANDIDATE goes and kiss their ring or else they are a “coward”.
Most of us are happy to see Trump tell them to screw off.
You side with the press. Good for you! Tell Ted to say hi to the people that yanks his cord.

“Whether one likes or dislikes Trump, it was inexcusable for any news network to issue that childish, mocking press release. Any candidate, unless they were desperate for media exposure, would have skipped the debate.”
There’s no way Trump is skipping the debate — that’s his usual attention getting hype. Only his cult followers fall for this act, or even care anymore whether he shows up. And as for “childish, mocking press releases”, well, all I can say is the law of reciprocity can be a b*tch sometimes.

Instead of debating they will all stand around bashing Trump since he won’t be there to defend himself. They will party on until he releases his views and then every one will cry about how unfair he is.

Why should he take it? The Dems hand pick the networks and moderators for their debates. They are lobbed softball after softball while the GOP allows liberal moderators and partisans to handle theirs.
Anyone reading the Fox press releases on the debates can understand why Trump is upset. Fox has an agenda and it is a kill shot on Trump. The National Review dedicated an entire issue to take down the GOP front-runner, a position he has held for 7 months. The political class is scared sh#tless by Trump. He can't be controlled and doesn't genuflect at their feet.

Oh, give me a break. You're really stuck in a time warp. Everything is moving past you. This is cat-and-rat stuff at the highest level, with the Trump in in the Catbird seat.
Get out of the way with your plodding pontifications. This place is jumpin' tonight! Love it!

I’m not the least bit confused. I think it’s funny as heck. He can dish it out but he can’t take it.

Rand Paul refused to participate in the loser tier debate last time, and look where he is now. He played hardball and is back on the main stage.

When he asked the reporter to apologize for misquoting him was political gold. He finally gave him the get lost wave.

I just read your replies about Cruz saying he challenges Trump to a one-on-one debate. Now Cruz just has to call Donald and tell him that.
To: Charles Henrickson
I am a Cruz supporter first and Trump second.
I am grateful Trump did this. Even better if he and Cruz debated one on one.

These posts here that say Trump is so afraid of the girl, obviously you were not watching the presser when he made this announcement. He was having the “journalists” for lunch and spitting them out. He was and is NOT afraid. He would have done the same with Miss Kelly during the debate. This is a strategic move on his part, part of making a good deal, the part when you say “bye bye”. He actually used those words. He has not blinked, we’re waiting to see if Ailes blinks.

Never a dull moment on the Trump E ticket ride. Remember Mitt putting us all to sleep on a daily basis? :-)

That graphic of Cruz with a black eye is pretty ironic coming on a thread where Trump has put in tail between his leg and fled a debate.
I am still laughing.
