A new, independent poll done for NH1 News has Republican Donald Trump well out in front but Jeb Bush slipping into second for the first time in months.
The upward blip for the former Florida Governor Bush comes when the poll surveys both Republicans and independents likely to vote in the Feb. 9 primary.
But in staggering fashion, Trump crushes the field and even more startling he opens up an even bigger lead when only women voters are surveyed.
REACH Communications did the random telephone poll on Thursday of 1,000 Republicans and independents. The margin of error for the poll was plus or minus 3.
When the poll is limited to the 416 Republicans who were sampled, the error margin edges up to 4.1 percent.
Among both political groups, Trump leads with 31.7 percent.
But Bush manages to barely edge his rivals - all within the error margin - with 11.9 percent to 11.8 percent for Ohio Gov. John Kasich.
The tightly bunched pack follows in order with New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (11 percent), Texas Senator Ted Cruz (10 percent) and Florida Senator Marco Rubio.
Following further behind are businesswoman Carly Fiorina (5 percent), noted surgeon Ben Carson (4 percent) and Kentucky Senator Rand Paul (3 percent).

Cruz may well take Iowa, but if Trump takes New Hampshire, the Primary season is OVER.
That simple.
I’ll probably vote for Kasich because his father was a mail man.
I would probably voted for J.F. Kerry way back then, if I had only known then that he was a Viet Nam vet.
Bill and Hillary Clinton are the penicillin-resistant syphilis of our political system.
I honestly did not know that Gilmore was still in.
If he does drop out, who will his tens of voters go to?
I dunno...Iâve always thought of Jeb as number2.........

Diarrhea. He, he, he ,he, he.
My head hurts.
Maybe Jeb’s super secret Guacamole Recipe would help cure it.
I am exceptionally happy with a Trump Cruz ticket. Eight years of beating the crap out of the bureaucrats and fixing the system while Ted is jack hammering SCOTUS to do the right thing, and then eight more for Cruz to take the victory lap and not change a damn thing for the worse, just for the better. Just imagine. I feel like butterflies just flew out of my butt.
Kaisch could make phone calls telling people the warranty on their cars are about to expire.
Fox News has Cruz second in their NH poll...
JeB? NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
Thought Christie was doing better because of Union Leader endorsement.
It looks like “Surging Ted” is surging in the wrong direction if even Yeb Ka sick and Krispy Kream are ahead of him.
THIS is a great example of why Cruz should not be the nominee. If he was the nominee the rats would see an opening and the media would stop reporting anything bad about Granny and Bubba. The cheap labor amnesty express money would flow in and “Surging Ted” would not have enough to campaign across the country.
He can’t do it now with only two states to fight in.
