Donald Trump may have eased some Republican fears Tuesday night when he declared his intention to stay inside the party. But if their angst has been temporarily eased at the prospect of what he would do if he loses, they still face a far more troubling, and increasingly plausible, question.
What happens to the party if he wins?

Just some more churning and meme-building by the Partisan Media Shills (PMS) -- all of them in the bag for the DNC.

“Trump is already beaten by the numbers, no matter how hard the MSM tries to elevate him.”
What alternate reality are you living in, LOL!
LOL...it’s apparent some folks invent their own facts.
It’s easier to sleep that way, I suppose.
BTTT!
They have a history of this. Recall the Alaska senate race when the anointed Country Club republican lost the primary to a conservative. No problem, the crony capitalists just opened their wallet and bought the general election, giving the democrats another safe ‘republican’ vote in the Senate.
They put out street money in Mississippi to defeat the conservative with black votes, saying the conservative would take away their right to vote if elected.
Trump has coattails. If we want to primary GOPe types or democrats in purple states, or even take another statehouse or two, this is the election to do it.
I wouldn’t have any problem with the totalitarian elitists if they would let me into the club. Since they won’t, count me in with the Resistance.
I don’t think they can pull running a third party presidential candidate off. It would be suicidal.
Yes, but they were just buying a primary there. In Alaska, they had the temerity to run a candidate against the Republican nominee.
I vote option #2, must be a message to those in the future who think to go down the same path.
You miss the point. They don’t care if they win at that point. As long as they can put down the conservative opposition, they don’t care if the democrat wins. They won’t have to split off many votes to guarantee a Hilary or Sanders win.
It won’t be the GOP by name.
It’ll be the big money donors. They pick a guy and back him.
If Cruz is the nominee, they can just stop the money flow and defeat Cruz that way. Trump is tougher. They’d have to split the vote most likely.
They want to keep control over the purse strings (1.1 trillion a year).
You think they’re going to risk losing that?
The "Too Late to Register as Candidate" party.
Why not just throw the big money behind Clinton!?
