In the first Iowa poll results since the third Republican debate, Ben Carson and Donald Trump are still running first and second while Ted Cruz has broken ahead of the remaining pack to third place and within striking distance of Trump, according to a poll conducted by KBUR-AM, Burlington, IA and Monmouth College (IL).
Carson leads among likely Iowa caucus-goers at 28% followed by Trump at 20%. Cruz is in third place at 15% while Marco Rubio and Jeb Bush and nearly tied at 10% and 9% respectively.
âTed Cruz is the only candidate who has improved his standing since the debate, doubling his percentage since the first KBUR-Monmouth College poll in June and about 5 points better than the Real Clear Politics (RCP) average and 6 points higher than the Huffington Post trend,â said Robin Johnson, who hosts the âTalking Politicsâ radio show on KBUR and teaches part time at Monmouth College. âRepublican voters seem to be sorting the race down to five candidates as we move closer to caucus day on February.â
Among the rest of the field, Carly Fiorina is in sixth place at 4%, followed by Chris Christie, Rand Paul and Bobby Jindal at 2%. Rick Santorum and John Kasich are at 1% and the other candidates (Mike Huckabee, Jim Gilmore, George Pataki, and Lindsay Graham) are all under .5%. Four percent of voters were undecided.

Wouldn’t that be something. I’d love to get to the point where the RNC has to coalesce behind Cruz in order to get rid of Trump. That will be more enjoyable than watching Trump make them squirm.

Is this one of these polls that ask questions like, as a woman, if you had the choice to sleep with Sean Connery or Trump who would you choose? Then the results are given to us as 80% of women when asked, would not sleep with Trump.

You can’t believe Cruz will ever be the nominee. It doesn’t matter what Presidential reds he’s has, he’s not what today’s voters are looking for. If Trump goes, my prediction is Rubio at this point. He’s good-looking, charismatic, and, as so many say, a gifted politician. That translates to he knows how to lie and cheat his way to the top.
If it’s not Trump, it’s not Cruz or Carson.

Cruz is running a trickle down campaign, like in economics it works remarkably well.

Nice for bragging rights, but keep the following facts in perspective:
- Iowa has actually awarded its electoral votes to ONE single solitary GOP candidate in all the presidential elections held in the last 30 years.
- They were one of only 10 states to go for Dukakis in 1988.
- No delegates are actually awarded in these over-hyped caucuses. They are elected delegates to a state convention to be held roughly four months later when the primary season is usually over or, at best, down to the final two.
- The state's voters are mostly attention whores only slightly less full of themselves than those in New Hampshire.

I don't know whether this poll is accurate or not; maybe it is. But you can expect skewed, falsified, manipulated poll results and any other kind of propaganda as the election approaches.
The Left will stop at NOTHING to advance its agenda.
Taqiyya is only one of its tactics.
To them, ANY MEANS justifies their nefarious objective.

Iowa's 2016 convention delegation will be bound to vote on the first ballot according to the caucus results.
