Two debates tonight on CNBC live from the Coors Event Center at the University of Colorado in Boulder.
The 'kids table' started just after 6 p.m. EDT with Sen. Lindsey Graham (SC), Gov. Bobby Jindal (LA), former Gov. George Pataki (NY), and former Sen. Rick Santorum (PA).
The main event at 8 p.m. EDT will feature Donald Trump (NY), Dr. Ben Carson (Fl), Sen. Marco Rubio (FL), former Gov. Jeb Bush (FL), Carly Fiorina (CA), Sen. Ted Cruz (TX), former Gov. Mike Huckabee (AR), Gov. Chris Christie (NJ), Gov. John Kasich (OH), and Sen. Rand Paul (KY).
Moderators for both debates are: John Harwood, Carl Quintanilla, and Becky Quick.
Bet it's not. Candy Crowley on CNN violated the moderator rules, sided with Obama, and was WRONG .. possibly costing Romney the debate and a major momentum changer in the election and:
CNN got the the second debate this year.
I get the feeling Trump has something up his sleeve. He is really harping on the super PAC issue. Tonight he mention that the super PACs are making some of these candidates make bad choices. I think he knows something that the rest of us don’t, and will spring the information when the time is right.
You didn’t miss the ‘enter’ key though.
I noticed how several of the candidates were looking down when Trump was slamming SuperPACs.
[Both have citizenship issues]
Read the Constitution. Get educated before spouting off misinformation.
Cruz is not running to be VP and go to funerals.
I would rather see him as the new Attorney General, if he can’t be president.
I would rather see him in SCOTUS.
The key to repairing the damages to this country can be found in the Constitution. While immigration, the budget, foreign policy and a raft of other issues are certainly important, the way back from the abyss is through the Constitution.
Trump is not that guy..He’s a Nor’easter Republican or blue dog dem. He’s a lot like Giuliani and others from the region but he does not have Giuliani’s experience.
How he can be the new pied piper of conservatives is flatly beyond my comprehension.
“If he didnât have the baggage of citizenship, Cruz could win.”
You are not informed on citizenship at all. You must be living under a rock.
CNBC doesn’t fare so well on presidential debates. Maria Bartiromo, in the 2012 debate got slapped around the stage by Newt Gingrich.
John “God wants us to grow the Welfare State” Kaisch needs to switch parties.
The Clinton Machine is probably at work as we speak to undermine what any Republican said tonight.
Trump's the frontrunner; he wins by not losing. But I'll be amazed if Cruz (my guy) does not pick up at least few percentage points in the polls.
I have to admit that I really enjoyed this debate! Once the first few candidates started nailing the commentators on gotcha questions and set the course back to the issues I was able to concentrate on the answers. Eventually all the candidates started hanging together rather than being led into a fight with their opponents by the three crap slinging commentators and reversed the whole thing causing the three to stop mud slinging.
All in all, they ALL did great, but I’m still voting for Trump.
LOL, Andrea Mitchell praising Ted Cruz on MSNBC! Pigs are flying.
Democrats lie.
We know they lie.
Democrats know that we know that they lie.
They don’t care.
My feed kept going in and out but what I did see, all of the candidates were good with the exception of Rand, Carson and Fiona (whatever), Trump, Cruz great, Christie good which surprised me. Please, no more debates. I am so tired of the gotchas.
Exactly, he maintains the lead, no goof ups. Cruz scored some great shots though.
He takes a lot of questions during his rallies. That's practice.
