This was a bad idea when Fiorina pushed it yesterday and its still a bad idea today. Is one worse than the other, though? Fiorina wants an NFZ to protect American-backed rebels from Putins bombs; Hillary wants one for humanitarian reasons, the same sort of thinking that produced the paradise you and I know as modern Libya.
Its worth risking a world war to help decide which barbarians ultimately prevail in Syria, no?
I personally would be advocating now for a no-fly zone and humanitarian corridors to try to stop the carnage on the ground and from the air, to try to provide some way to take stock of whats happening, to try to stem the flow of refugees, Clinton said in an interview with NBC affiliate WHDH in Boston after a campaign event nearby
White House Press Secretary Josh Ernest seemed to rule out the idea of a no-fly zone as recently as Tuesday. On the no-fly zone, our position on that hasnt changed, which is at this point thats not something that were considering, he told reporters during a gaggle aboard Air Force One. It raises a whole set of logistical questions about how exactly what would be enforced, what sort of resources would be used to actually protect that area. So thats why at this point weve indicated that thats not something that were considering right now.
Fiorinas plan is targeted. Putin can do what he wants so long as he doesnt mess with our guys on the ground. (Unless some of those guys defect to ISIS, I guess, in which case well be bombing them ourselves.)

Righto. Nice little Air Force you have there, Putin. Wouldn’t want anything to happen to it. How about a $100,000,000 speaker’s fee for Bill?
They have missed a key detail.
The whole problem that opened the door for the Russians, and made it so that Americans can’t support American policy, is simply this: The obamists did not demand that our allies and proxies protect the Christians in their midst. Our proxies are the ones slaughtering Christians. We are required by our government to pay for and support the very people who are slaughtering Christians and other non-muslims in Syria and in Iraq too.
This has made it impossible for Americans to support their own government’s policy and that is what has opened the door for the Russians to sweep in with impunity. Because as much as we don’t want the Russians there, we can’t support the people who would replace them.
It would have been quite simple and expected had we conditioned all our support on our partners (the Turks, the Saudis, the Qataris) and our proxies (the “rebels” and ISIS) protecting the Christians. But Obama and his horrorshow of a regime would not lift a single finger to help a Christian no matter what was at stake, even when their own policy was at stake.
This is the world we are in, that our enemies have been handed the moral high ground on a silver platter.
Would this be a “sensible” no-fly zone, Hillary?
When was the last time there was a rebel army in the Middle East that was fighting for democracy and a non islamic government. The answer never comes to mind. These 2 bimbos have more testosterone than they have brains.
Carly Fiorinas conversion from Hillary Clinton fan to fervent critic

In 2010, the then-GOP Senate nominee went all middle-school-cafeteria on her Democratic opponents hairdo. God, what is that hair? Sooo yesterday, Fiorina, already miked up, commented, quoting an aides assessment. Two years earlier, in the makeup room at ABCs This Week with me, Fiorina said something that, at the time, was mildly interesting, but is now revelatory. It was May 2008, close to the end of the long primary battle between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, and we were discussing the two Democratic contenders.
At which point Fiorina, then a campaign surrogate for presumptive GOP nominee John McCain, offered some unprompted praise for Clinton: If Fiorina hadnt been backing McCain, she told me, she would have been for Clinton.
Thats off the record, Fiorina immediately added.
yeah, i was kind of wondering that. And I’m kind of wondering why the U.S. and Western European countries demanded today that russia stop attacking “moderate” rebels.
It reminds me of a woody allen movie.
he tell his wife “i command you to go to bed” and she walks out of the room.
He says “if that’s the way you act when i command you, I’m not gonna command you anymore”
I'm phoning in he rest of the campaign.
I'm good enough.
I'm smart enough.
And doggone it, people like me.
Mirror, mirror on the wall, whose the most trustworthy candidate of all?”
Mirror: “Not you”
Hilary: “I'm ready for my close up Mr. DeMille.
Hey, Bill!
How much more do we have to pay Soros to have the vote counted so that I win?
Whatever it is, I think it's worth it.”
Bill Clinton: “He already owns your soul. I don't know what else we can give him.”
Hilary: “My soul?! (scoffs) I haven't used that thing in decades!”
Dangerous idiots.
Too late. The Russians are now claiming their own no fly zone
Ladies,, as far as I'm concerned, I would enforce a "NO $HIT" zone every time you run your mouth.
The same rebels who chop peoples heads off. For crying out loud has some in this country not learned anything from backing Bin Laden?
While these two idiots have no idea about war then where is the fairy in chief?
“Hillary echoes Carly Fiorina: Id impose a no-fly zone inside Syria”
So, does IMPOSING this no-fly zone exclude the Russians and Iranians too? If so, how does one IMPOSE such a zone without starting WWIII?
I think people’s sarcasm/joking identifiers are broken today...
I want to Russian to kill all those rag heads!
Why would we stop them?
I’m not one of the Putin fanboys here but we were invited to help the coalition of Russia. There may be valid reasons not to join it but if the objective was to bomb ISIS and it is that simple, then why not?
Isn’t Tom Cotton behind this too? Cruz has not spoken.
I’m not really behind this kind of option myself.
It will be such a nice little war. Probably over by the end of summer.
Yes, that is what we need U.S. and Russian jets shooting at each other!
