Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump debated the use of the term anchor baby with a reporter at a press conference in New Hampshire on Wednesday.
Trump was asked, You said that you have a big heart, and that youre not mean-spirited. Are you aware that the term anchor baby, thats an offensive term? People find that hurtful.

Trump responded, You mean its not politically correct, and yet everybody uses it? He then suggested the reporter give him a different term to use, to which the reporter suggested The American-born [children] of undocumented immigrants. Trump said in response, Ill use the word anchor baby.'
LOL!

If he continues on this path, there will come a time when he won’t be asked much of anything other than policy questions.
That reporter probably thought he had him. And then get bitch slapped in front of everyone. Pretty soon, they’ll be daring each other or having to draw the short straw, only to have themselves verbally bitch-slapped like that.

Do you think the reporter even thinks he got slapped down? He went looking for an “inflammatory” statement, and got what he wanted.
To: E. Pluribus Unum
Instead of “reporter” the article should have used the preferred and more accurate term, “fifth-column leftist media skank.”

Do you think the reporter even thinks he got slapped down? One of my pet peeves is dealing with someone with a below average IQ who clearly -- CLEARLY -- thinks they are the smartest person in the room at all times. I think many (most) journalists fall into this category.
Trump is a rare example of a public figure who is willing to expose the stupidity of the I'm-so-smart club.
But, typically, the journalist will walk away thinking: "I sure showed him!"

The amazing thing is that for decades, GOP politicians have made a great effort to avoid using commonly spoken terms like “anchor baby” and “illegal aliens,” but still got called racist incessantly. Trump just ignores it and nothing happens to him. He doesn’t get struck down by a thunder bolt from the sky.
