Democrats in House of Reps. joined J Street in supporting Obama administration's attempt to force Israel into making painful concessions
Seventy-four Democrats in the House of Representatives have joined the dovish J Street organization in supporting the Obama administration's attempt to force Israel into making painful concessions to the Palestinian Authority.
In our view, support for a two-state resolution is inseparable from such support for Israel, its special relationship with the United States, and its very survival as a democratic homeland for the Jewish people, the letter said.
Seven Jewish members signed the letter, including Reps. Steve Cohen (D-Tenn.), John Yarmuth (D-Ky.), Reps. Susan Davis (D-Calif.), Bob Filner (D-Calif.), Jared Polis (D-Colo.), Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.) and Henry Waxman (D-Calif.).
Rep. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.), the chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee also signed the letter.
J Streets director of government affairs Dylan Williams noted that the signatories are making clear that to be pro-Israel is to support active U.S. engagement in achieving a two-state solution.
If the U.S. Congress does not make a viable resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict a cornerstone of foreign policy in the region, then we are not truly helping Israel to face one its most critical challenges, Williams continued.

Hammer & Sickle or Swastika... what’s the diff ?
If Israels most critical challenge is how to best to self destruct then Mr. Williams is certainly correct.
If anyone believes that giving the Palestinians their own state carved out of the current state of Israel is a valid path to peace between Israel and the Arabs they have totally ignored the lessons of history and what the Arabs themselves have stated about the continued existence of Israel.
That was my guess too. That is about the same number of Commies that West claimed.
Seventy-fourSure, no problema. Just comprimise and concede and move back to the '67 Borders you hard headed 'zionists' and all will be peachy. As the saying goes: 'Suicide Is Painless'.DemocratsCommunists in the House of Representatives have joined the dovish J Street organization in supporting the Obama administration's attempt to force Israel into making painful concessions to the Palestinian Authority.
And in other news the Jewish leaders of the Judenräte in all the Nazi Ghettos said compromise and concessions to the NAZIS aren't 'all that bad'. After all, if we don't they'll kill us all. Now they only kill a few of us at a time.(1)
(1) Reference to time before the 'Final Solution' was reached, all the Jewish Ghettos were obliterated and emptied out, and the trains started rolling non-stop.
(see History Channel H2: 'Hitler's Accomplices')
“Let me guess, it was the ‘communist caucus’ in the House”
You got it ! They are communists when I see Shakowsky’s maiden name up there who by the way is exempted from partaking in it as one of the authors of the revisec Romneycare bill. As the song “Send in the clowns” refrain reminds US “Don’t bother they’re here” .
I really don’t see the difference between a Communist and ANY ‘run of the mill’ democrat...the platforms are nearly identical.

1930’s version:
“In our view, support for building gas chambers is inseparable from support for European Jewry, its special relationship with the United States, and its very survival”
Makes the same amount of sense.
The Resolution of San Remo in 1920 already established separate homelands for Arabs and Jews. It also has more legitimacy than the UN resolutions which are non-binding.
It gave Syria, Iraq and Jordan to the Arabs, and a sliver of the region to the Jews.
It also recognized the rights of Jews in all the Arab countries and Arabs in Israel.
Before surrendering any more land or rights by Israel, the Arab nations first need to honor the terms of the original resolutions, from which they received far more than Israel.
Those attempting to further divide Israel simply are promoting criminal disobedience to international law.
Even more ignorant is the Arab attack upon Israel in what they call “East Jerusalem” which is the heart of Israel.
How many Communists were said to be congressmen?
The call themselves “Progressive”
You never hear of democrats urging concessions on the
fatah/plo factions.
Screw them.

Yesterday was the last day that an Illinois candidate could file, as a write-in candidate. I’m a write-in candidate, for Congress, in the 7th Dist., where the incumbent is Rep. Danny Davis. I’m the only conservative, in that race. If you know anyone, who lives in that district, please ask them to write my name and vote for me. The district includes downtown Chicgo, Oak Park, Bellwood, and Maywood. My blog is philcollinscampaign.blogspot.com.
