To hell with the GOP-e. Barring a miracle, they got their big government, unconstitutional mandate loving, socialist abortionist Obama-lite RINO on the ballot, they can now get him elected.
We are the resistance!!
Shove him down our throats today, we shove him up your donkeys in November!!
I can see November from my house!!

Who wins if Romney wins? Romney? Try again.
How about the Defense Department, our National Security, Israel, Poland and a litany of other people, organizations and Allies that need a strong America.

All of your points are well taken and I'm aware of them all. But, again, I'm going to vote for whomever the GOP nominee is.
Many forget, that in '08 Mittens was the cat's meow as far as conservatives were concerned and very well might have been the nominee had Charlie Crist not endorsed McNuts on the eve of the Florida primary. I held my nose and voted for McNuts, in the general...only because of Palin.

I read the link below. Unfortunately, it argues that Romney actually will appoint conservative judges despite his Massachusetts track record. I'm guessing the point can be made with a better link?

Governor Mitt Romney, who touts his conservative credentials to out-of-state Republicans, has passed over GOP lawyers for three-quarters (75%) of the 36 judicial vacancies he has faced, instead tapping registered Democrats or independents including two gay lawyers who have supported expanded same-sex rights.”

Their ‘conclusion’ is based on what Romney says he will do.
Saying and doing are two different things.
Sorry, but I don’t take ‘etch-a-sketch’ at his word because he talks out of both sides of his mouth.

I don’t see any difference.
Obama = Kenyan
Romney = Mexican
Romney = Pro Abortion
Obama = Pro Abortion
Romney = Liberal
Obama = Liberal
Obama never served in the military.
Romney never served in the military.
Obama if not muslim, clearly sympathizes with them
Romney is mormon. They both are not true christians.
So, from where I am sitting - there is no difference between the two.
As a christian, I cannot compromise with the devil. Getting republicans elected, great. But I am a christian first, republican second.
As a christian, I cannot bear false witness. I cannot donate to a campaign I don’t believe in, I cannot make calls on behalf of a candidate I know is evil.
As a christian, I know that everything follows God’s plan. My adhering to his teachings will not endanger this country any more than going to church on wednesday and sunday endangers this country.
So I know, I am called, I am compelled by my faith to NOT vote for evil, for Romney. I know that my doing so will be in accordance to God’s plan, and God’s teachings. I don’t know what a conservative, christian boycott of Romney will bring, but it will be as it should be. And maybe, next time around - and there will be a next time, God Willing - we won’t be taken for granted by those who need us.

Romney's record in Massachusetts was with a Democratic legislature. Even with Romneys substantial defects, he is preferable to Obama.
You people keep saying that, but it's not true. Romney is a leftist and if (God forbid) he gets elected president, he will be calling a leftist tune and there will be no meaningful opposition from Republicans. At least with Obama, the Republicans are forced to oppose out of political necessity. With Romney, no such pressure exists.
People who vote out of fear will be the death of this country.

RATE of deterioration is a consideration here.
After 4 years of Romney there will still be an America to save.
Obama’s goal is the destruction of America and there will be nothing left to save in 4 years.
Those are your ONLY choices!

Where in the Constitution does it say we get to choose a candidate for our political party?
This is why moderates think conservatives are stupid. You put all that time into some great graphics but have no idea what the hell you are talking about.
READ THE CONSTITUTION !
There are plenty of legitimate reasons to be angry that Romney is our nominee but our rights under the Constitution are not among them.
To: 5thGenTexan
Well aren't you just sooo very special. Your assertion is irrelevant as the end result is the same. Yours is a distinction without a difference . . . either you are working to stop the reelection of the most destructive and dangerous fascist in American history, or you are helping him win.
No third party candidacy will help conservatives. No refusal to vote for Romney will benefit any conservative cause--but it will ensure Obama's reelection.
Standing on principle would be small comfort to me if the entire nation is brought down because of it.
America faces a simple choice in the upcoming elections . . . either Obama wins and America finishes its rapid trip down the toilet of Marxism/socialism with all of the loss of liberties and freedoms Americans have come to expect, or Obama loses and America is given another chance to get it right--next time around.
To fail, for Obama to get reelected is for America to die--not really cool with that . . . I guess you holier-than-thou types are.

RE :”
Yours is the most logical post in this thread. Will Mittens keep talking conservative or will he make a 90 degree turn towards severely moderate to appease the centrists. If he starts talking liberal talk now that Rick has left the race, I will abstain in 2012, in spite of knowing Obama in 2nd term will be far more destructive of the country. I detest people who are undependable more than people who have a core belief even if it is not same as mine.”
Thanks..
I don't tell others who to vote for when the choices are this bad. Obama is doing his best to get Republicans to give up their vow to never vote for Romney.
Romney is a liberal, it will show itself sooner or later. Let's just watch and see what he does when his number 1 opponent is Obama.
So far I don't see Romney responding effectively to Obama’s ‘Buffet Rule’ skit that he ( Obama) has been playing for a while now. Does he even have an effective response to it? , besides : 'rich guy's like me need that money' ? which is not very inspiring. Or is he just hoping the economy tanks and he gets lucky?

The Tea Party and GOP grass roots will keep the heat on Romney and a Republican Congress. In addition, the federal operational and generational deficits are so immense that the bond and currency markets will force spending cuts and reforms at the federal level, and GOP business interests will insist on regulatory reforms.

You speak out of fear and not from knowledge. You are so frightened that you can't even see facts.
You can listen to the party elites and react from fear. The rest of us intend to fight back. Romney, Obama, same choice.
Have a good day.

Romney doesn't "hate" America ... Neither does Obama
I guess I actually should have used your term. I like it better. You say Obama doesn't hate America. Exactly how differently would he be governing if he did then? I would say that Obama DOES hate America, at least the America formed by our Founding Fathers. Does someone with a strong belief in our founding tell one of our lifelong adversaries "After the election, I will have more flexibility"? He talks down to the Supreme Court about unelected officials, yet he has tens of unelected Czars producing and enforcing legislation that never saw the halls of Congress. He, along with Pelosi and Reid, has taken this nation further down the road of Fascism than I ever dreamed I would see.
You really believe that Romney would govern like this? Romney is not even close to my best pick, but I have a strong feeling that he would govern this country to the right of McCain. That's not saying much, but its a hell of a lot better than watching the final destruction of EVERYTHING we used to be as a nation.
Obama's second term will see the dismantling of our military, he has already halted our space programs, and he allies himself with our lifelong adversaries and distances himself from our true allies (Israel). Hell, he has even pissed off Canada and Great Britain. He shows NO signs of desiring an energy independent USA as he has wasted billions on "solar" shell companies while shutting down all public land drilling. He has strengthened and has given marching orders to union thugs to shut us down and worse case, he may get another one to two more Justices in a second term. He has spent and spent and spent and shows no signs of slowing that down.
And what about race relations? Do you think that they will improve or worsen in the next term? I'm sorry. Romney may suck, but to draw a moral equivalent between the two shows a lack of understanding or an unwillingness to believe in the depths that Obama will aim for in his second term to finally "Fundamentally Transform" America.
