Shifting support to Bachmann; if she is forced out, it will be Ron Paul. NO RINOs! (vanity)

Posted on 12/03/2011 11:16:13 AM PST by JimWayne

I first supported Palin and then Cain. Both have been hounded out. I am NOT SUPPORTING RINO Gingrich. I will now support Bachmann. If they hound her out, it is Ron Paul with whom I vehemently disagree on foreign policy. Sorry, that is how it is.

The other choices we have are the following: Gingrich the Global Warmist, Santorum the ethanol salesman and pork baron, Rick Perry the pro-bailout Governor and Mittens the socialist and abortionist.

At this point Tea Party gaining control of the Congress and Senate is important. If that happens, they can keep Hussein in check. Hussein winning a second term is bad but Mittens is worse for America.

I am open to hearing why I should not prioritize my support to various candidates in this order. I am not supporting any RINOs. I know I am willing to support Ron Paul in protest against the RINOs. You can convince me to not support Paul and abstain, but you cannot convince me to support any RINO.

Well by far the biggest problems this country faces is corruption in government and deficit spending. By far the biggest and Paul is very very good on both. So if you are looking to solve the biggest problems facing the country the obvious choice is Paul. He is the only one that will in fact change the direction the country is going (Marxist). His cut 1 trillion the first year sounds about right to me. The pigs in D.C. will howl to high heaven, it will be fun.

You have about 5 weeks to put forward someone else. And no, unlike Cain and Perry, Newt isn’t some fresh face that can be taken easily down due to people not knowing who he is. So negative ads aren’t going to cut it.

With Newt pushing double digit leads all over the place, I don’t see someone bumping him off.

<ABO - Anybody But Obama
<simple

Alas, you are probably right. At this point, after Cain’s withdrawal, I don’t care who wins the primary. Just let me vote in the regular election and pull that ‘Anybody But Obama’ lever.

I don’t like any of them, I’m willing to say that they are all RINOs (save Bachman and Paul, but they have their own issues and won’t be the choice after the primary), but I will hold my nose and vote to get rid of Obama. Any one waiting for the purity ticket is giving the election over to the evil one.

The war on terror is turning into another war just like the war on drugs, which really means a war on civil liberties and a war on personal freedom. No thanks. You want to have a war? Fine declare war and then let waste the suckers, every last one of them that puts up any kind of a fight. Personally I want the war on our Constitution to be over and with Paul it will be over.

WTF?? They’ve already attacked us and his response was that America asked for it.

And the Karl Rove Republicans used the chance to give more money to Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. They also first claimed that Afghanistan planned the attacks and then switched it to Iraq. So yes, there are conspiracy theories all around. And one more statement I have heard is that those in the GOP who funded Osama bin Laden in the 1980s should not be forgiven and should be held responsible for aiding terrorism (they mean Bush 41).

With no re-election to run for, the Obammunist won't give a sh** about Congress. He will pull out all the stops, rule by decree, and to hell with the law. An Obammunist second term will be the nightmare event that will plunge this nation into the inevitable.

And yet the Pubbies are so friggin' stupid, they can't find a conservative to nominate. The GOP is to blame for the Obammunist's first term, and it'll be to blame for his second as well.

FUGOP.

Are you saying you’re such a policy puritan you won’t vote for Romney and risk another 4 years of Obama? You know what they say, you get the government you vote for. Except for Reagan, I’ve had to vote for the lessor of two evils. Look at it this way... Romney will at least be under pressure from the right to do the right thing, Obamy would be flipping a 4 year finger at us.

You are wrong. Your arguments are premature. We are talking primaries, not strategy for the general elections. If you want to talk strategy, the only way to make Hussein lose is to have a woman or a black as the nominee. An outsider may have an outside chance. No way an establishment candidate can win against Hussein.

You need to spend a little time researching what went on, because you’re sorely mistaken about the circumstances. I’ll be happy to provide some links if you would like.

Would these be the links to the Whitehouse spokesman who said Newt quitting was one of the worst things to happen to the Democrat party as he had been such a factor in the Republicans having the worst midterm election for a party that did not hold the presidency in over 60 years?

Newt was wildly unpopular both within the Republican party and with the electorate. This, along with his mercurial temper and lack of focus caused a revolt in the House leadership. When he realized he was going to loose the speakership, he quit the speaker position, and shortly thereafter he quit the House, even though he had just been reelected.

That's the facts. Of course, other more tawdry things were happening in his private life.

Sorry, but if you think Obama’s foreign policy is scary, along with his penchant for apologizing for America’s sins, you ain’t seen nothing in terms of what a Paul presidency would bring.

Good points. And I don’t even want to imagine who Ron Paul would pick to run on his ticket.

I, and millons of other libertarians, will be voting for Ron Paul even if we have to write him in. We've supported the GOP nominee for decades, no matter who it was. Not again. The Constitution must be restored, and no one but Ron Paul will even make a serious attempt. At this point, nothing else matters.

BUMP.

That is why Wrong Paul is not even on my list. (neither is Romney or Newt)

I’ll support Santorum or Bachmann I guess at this point.

Like you, I like about 80% of Ron Paul. But that other 20% is going to get a lot of good Americans killed.

Since you have backed two losers, are now backing someone who is hoping Iowa will give her the miracle it will not, and then would back a certifiable space cadet, really, why do you expect anyone to care who you support?
