For a head of state to visit the White House and not pose for photographers is rare. For a key ally to be left to his own devices while the President withdraws to have dinner in private was, until this week, unheard of.
Yet that is how Binyamin Netanyahu was treated by President Obama on Tuesday night, according to Israeli reports on a trip seen in Jerusalem tonight as a disastrous humiliation.
After failing to extract a written promise of concessions on Jewish settlements, Mr Obama walked out of his meeting with Mr Netanyahu but invited him to stay at the White House, consult with advisors and “let me know if there is anything new”, a US congressman who spoke to the Prime Minister said today.
“It was awful,” the congressman said. One Israeli newspaper called the meeting “a hazing in stages”, poisoned by such mistrust that the Israeli delegation eventually left rather than risk being eavesdropped on a White House phone line. Another said that the Prime Minister had received “the treatment reserved for the President of Equatorial Guinea”.

We are ALL suffering the consequence of the mindless, groupthink, socially supported block voting of the various voting blocks targeted by the Liberal Democrat machine. When 77% of a sub group makes such a horrible mistake, something is profoundly wrong. Obama came to power on the strength of a coalition of minority groups voting overwhelmingly in his favor. And we are all having to deal with their very, very bad judgment. Pointing that out does not make one a bigot.
I know that supporting Obama was very fashionable, and I believe that was a driving factor in the Jewish vote. But give me a break — he is destroying freedom here and everywhere as fast as he is able!!!

lol...he certainly didn't go there to socialize with the jihadist-sympathizing Rat. He came on business. And the business was essentially completed earlier in the day when Bibi told Bambi where to stick his ridiculous demands. ...and confirmed a few hours later when officials in Jerusalem announced the approval of yet more apartments in the part of town in question. ...while Bibi was still in the States, I might add.
Agree, all bad light should be reserved for odorko, but Bibi had to know that such would happen to him. I guess there was no viable way around it given the situation, but it is very frustrating.....

If you check Obama’s last trip over seas. His wife left just after their visit to France ,
as stated below. She has yet to accompany him to any Arab country.

I was at a Blockbusters renting videos, and as I was going along the wall,
there was a video called “Obama”. There were two ARAB men next to me. We
talked about Obama. I asked them why they thought Michele Obama headed home
following her visit in France, instead of traveling on to Saudi Arabia and Turkey with her husband...
They told me she couldn’t go to Saudi Arabia , Turkey or Iraq!
I said “Laura Bush went to Saudi Arabia , Turkey and Dubai .” They said that
Obama is a Muslim, and by Muslim law he would not be allowed to bring his wife
into countries that accept Sharia Law.
I just thought it was interesting that two Arabs at Blockbusters accept
the idea that we’re being led by a Muslim who follows the Islamic creed.
They also said, that’s the reason he bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia .. It
was a signal to the Muslim world.
When I heard this it made sense to me, but there were also a couple
blank spots. So, I sent it to a friend who is a Middle Eastern Scholar and expert,
Dr. Jim Murk.
Here is his explanation that states a little more clearly what the Arabs at Blockbuster were saying.
“An orthodox Muslim man would never take his wife on a politically
oriented trip to any nation which practices shari’ah la, which includes
Saudi Arabia. That is why Obama left Michelle in Europe, or at home, when he
went to Arab countries. He knows Muslim protocol; this included his bowing
to the Saudi king.
Obama is regarded as a Muslim in these countries simply
because he was born to a Muslim father. Note that he has downplayed his
Christianity—even spoke of his Muslim faith with George Stephanopoulus —by
not publicly joining a Christian church in D.C., but simply attending the
chapel or services at Camp David. He also played down the fact that the
United States is a Christian country and said, unbelievably, that it was one of the
largest Muslim nations in the world, which is nonsense! He has also publicly
taken the part of the Palestinians in the conflict with Israel. Finally, he
ignored the National Day of Prayer. He is bad news. He is God’s judgment on
America .”

It's not surprising at all, and I never claimed otherwise. In fact, it's quite natural that a Palestinian sympathizer like Obama would be pissed at an Israeli leader who stands his ground and refuses to be complicit in Israel's destruction.
My original contention was that Bibi most likely wasn't at all either surprised or "humiliated" by Obama's lack of basic civility, and that the headline writer took liberties in assuming he was.
