If Barry would spend more time watching FOX instead of watching MSNBC and CNN he never would have gotten into this summit thing. He is so used to his inner circle telling him how wonderful he is and watching the Olberfuhrer and Maddow say how brilliant he is that he thought he could walk on water. During the ‘summit’ I think it finally dawned on him that not everyone is drinking the Kool Aid, and that is when his demeanor changed.

You're probably right, but they're also DESPERATE to make this "bipartisan". Pelosi didn't just get 218 votes. She got ONE of the votes to be a Republican. Reid got ONE Republican to vote for cloture. Suddenly, the press was having orgasms over the "bipartisan" bills.

The precious independents and moderates don't want to see "partisanship", so the Dems need that cover. They must have figured they could have turned at least one Republican by going on about people swapping false teeth and Obama's daughter's trip to the emergency room.

I wish I’d been able to tune in to see all of this for myself, but just heard a few sound bites on (our side’s) radio shows.

A favorite sob story of mine was the tear jerker about the woman wearing her dead sister’s dental ‘plate.’

OK, this is too bad, but where in HEALTH CARE does it say anything about DENTAL care? The two are totally separate and policies are separate or addendums to the health policies.

Dental insurance is nowhere near as commonly held as health, and many if not most people don’t even carey it. I haven’t had it in YEARS as I am not in any union that provides it as a benefit. Most people I know in private industry have NO dental coverage even if it’s offered as it is not cost effective.

So now we all get to hear sob stories about peoples’ dental problems? Open your checkbooks people! This is all so out of control!
