You can tell by the way he ordered the final speakers (heavy Dem lineup) and couldn’t single out on Repub, that the there was a pre-planned sob story grande finale.

We will see pretty soon, but, I think there are too many Dems who will not vote for it. The Dems knew the summit would not bring in GOP votes, they had to have a different need.

They were trying to get the republicans in a corner by showing how many things the republicans agreed with and if the didn't vote for it they were obstructionists and not really sincere about health care reform. I got the same lecture from my congresswoman.

I know how you feel. I just lost my mother a few weeks ago, too, and it’s still hard for me to think I just can’t call her up and say, “did you hear about...” whatever, even some totally trivial thing.

That said, I was appalled by the combination of stupidity, ruthlessness and rudeness projected by the Boy Wonder. I honestly don’t think we’re going to make it to the 2012 elections.

If he gets this thing through with “reconciliation,” I think there will be an explosion of anger among the public. I’m also not entirely convinced he has the votes to do it, though.

Now we see a game of chicken. Either Reid has 50 or he does not. Either Queen 9% Nancy has 217 or she does not. I’m betting not, or else they wouldn’t have to put on this Kabuki Theater.

The primary audience for this Kabuki theater were the Democrat Congressmen and Senators who needed to be given a reason to hit the beach on Reconciliation Island.

After today's performance, my guess is Harry and Nancy aren't going to find many volunteers.

Would sum this up by saying the Republicans brought their “A” Team and the Dems including ZERO brought their “C” Team at best. All the DemocRATs had was sob stories while the Republicans had the facts.

Very proud that these Republicans represent us in Congress! Now time to roll up the sleeves and oust these DemocRATs we saw today and the rest in the House and Senate. Make sure this coming January 2011 that Pelosi has to leave the Speaker’s office and Chair! I want to see a Republican Speaker behind Obama come the State of the Union!

Charles Rangel saying we all deserve the same health care, but Ole Charlies seems to think he deserves preferential treatment when it comes to taxes. Bet, Charlie would look for preferential medical care, too, except he already has it!
