In May 2009, a remarkably well-preserved extinct primate, nicknamed Ida, was hailed as one of the most important fossil finds ever. It had features that some interpreted as a link between two primate body forms. At the time, ICR News suggested that its evolutionary significance was far overblown, predicting that the scientific consensus would offer retractions. Those retractions came three months later, confirming that the fossil―called Darwinius―was really just an extinct lemur variety...

“But then, I don’t think the Bible should be used as a science book either. “
Some people have made some remarkable conclusions about our world using the Bible. It shouldn’t be written off quite so readily.
Read here about Nachmanides under the section *The creation of time*, among other things.

>> “Catholicism is the oldest Christian denomination on earth.”
The Papist church was born 400 years after Christ died. It set out to destroy the real church, which of course it cannot do. It works against its own members, some of which are real Christians. <<
What about the Gnostic Christians, they were formed 200 years before the Papist Church, or were they another conspiracy set in motion by the Devil to deceive Christians?
So what specific sect of Christianity that has existed from 32 A.D. has it 100% absolutely correct for the last 2000 years in you opinion?

For one woman to call another a “little boy” is as bizzare as all the crap you post to put a smoke screen in front of reality.

"evolution is a lie"
So how old is the earth, and how did all those fossils get in the ground?

Twisted? I merely used your logic. There is as much in common between evolution and AGW as there is between Christianity and Scientology.

Logic is a funny choice of words to use when discussing something as illogical as theistic evolution.
And clearly you fail to see the irony in your post.

Different people have the gall to interpret a fossil differently......and that's an "attack on religious freedom"!!!!! Thank you. I thought I was the only one to notice that according to GGG's own JR quote, this thread belongs in Religion, not News/Activism:
Debate on church doctrine and or threads on specific religious matters may be best posted in the religion forum,
Reading the article excerpt and the responses, it is obvious that this thread is a debate on church doctrine and a specific religious matter.
the defense of religious freedom, especially against those who wish to deprive us of same belongs front and center on FR
No one in the article or posts is trying to deprive anyone of their religious freedom. Therefore, according to the guidelines posted by GGG, this thread doesn't belong in News/Activism, but Religion.

"NOT Christian"
Well, I guess we can see what an understanding, open-minded person you are. The news that they're not "real" Christians will be welcomed by the world's Catholic millions who hang on your every word.

We disagree. Yes, we do.
But agreement, or disagreement, does not change the truth. Just like science is not conducted by consensus, truth is objective, and exists outside of agreement or disagreement.
