Twelve people have been killed and 31 wounded in a shooting spree at a Texas military base by what officials believe was possibly carried out by an Army officer.

The suspected gunman was identified by ABC News as Major Malik Nadal Hasan.

The shooter was killed and two other suspects, who are also soldiers, have been apprehended, Lt. Gen. Robert W. Cone said.

The gunman used two handguns, Cone said. He wasn't sure if the shooter reloaded the weapons during the attack.

Reports on the TV/radio indicate that there were 2-3 gunmen.

So yes, this could have been a Muzz attack similiar to the one planned by the Fort Dix "Six."

Mexican gangs, like all gangs, only attack when they know they’re stronger and think they’re safe. And on a US Army base, they wouldn’t be.

Also, gangs are motivated by money and not ideology. They’ll go along with anybody who pays them enough.

So therefore, if you’re thinking suicidal ideologically motivated attack, I’d say there’s only one group left...

Yeah...my father (UNS Ret) has a state issued concealed carry permit but does not take his weapon on base.
