how many votes are likely normally in a statewide election?.....how many more votes are out there?..discounting fraud of course...I honestly don't know. I don't watch Jersey politics cuz it's usually so blue, it does no good. But, tonight is another story.

Salem is a swing county. Voted for Obama and Clinton, but went for Bush in 2004. You basically have the a-pits of Carney’s Point, Penns Grove, and Salem on the Delaware coast, with peach and tomato farms inland.

NY23: 13% in, Hoffman is -5. A minute or so ago he was only -3. Overall, he’s moving up, but it’s not looking good.
Corzine is still -6 with about 65% of precincts in.

The precincts reporting so far in NY-23 was expected to be very heavy for Owens. These numbers are from Owens stronghold, so things are still looking good for Hoffman

Im getting worried about Hoffman. 8% is in and hes down 11
Was as close as -3 with 12% then back to -5 with 13%. Still too soon to tell.
To: eXe
645 vote difference Owens over Hoffman. Should be able to make that up.

Exactly, the worst(crist conservative ads) are the ones he runs on conservative web sites. No telling what this bozo spent or where he got the money. If the RNC is funding him they need to be spanked... again.

Possibly so ... the challenge then being that they figure out how not to boot it the way they did after '94, so that Clinton got re-elected in '96. Clinton got re-elected by the manufactured outrage over the Oklahoma City bombing.
Before that, he was on his way to irrelevance. But, by tying the bombing to his political opposition, his popularity surged.
That's why there was no credible pursue of co-conspirators: they didn't want to find it wasn't the "right wing" after all.
