Last January when the most recent flap about feathered dinosaurs made the rounds (01/21/2009), we listed 18 questions that should be asked before believing the claims made about bird and feather evolution. I see you’re imagining things. Not one word you wrote has any relationship to my saying that you are narrow-minded, intolerant. And no one enjoys the kind of verbal flatulence that you seem to desire spewing. Evo’s like you pretend to speak for a large portion of society for the simple reason that you are insecure about your own beliefs (or lack thereof).

I’ve been an observer of human nature for most of my life and the thing I’ve found about the kind of ego the likes of you display is that it’s generally founded in the same stuff as is the bully on a playground: there’s something generally lacking, whether it be a bad relationship with your mother or problems with your manhood or the like.

For instance, in one single response you have proposed that GGG believes a whole host of things that are entirely unfounded. Actually, what you’ve said here are blatant lies and your comments are generally slanderous. However it’s not hard to surmise who you are by just the few words you’ve written. Your intolerance screams and the smallness of your world is evident by the juvenile nature of your weak and tasteless response.

Honestly, I’d love to debate you on the theory of evolution, but judging from what you’ve written here I’m not sure you’d have the mental capacity to argue the physical characteristics of peanut butter, much less the complexities of Creation.

Just my humble opinion. Here... I’ll sign it so you’ll have no question who posted this reply. You can use it when you start crying about being attacked by a Creationist.

Cool. I’m up for debate. Thanks for being sensible. Now..how to start debating with a young-Earther fundamentalist Christian that doesn’t believe in science? When we get that figured out, I’ll start pitching, but until then, its a moot point arguing or debating with you folks. And there is nothing insincere about calling a young-Earther a flat-Earther or center-of-universer because it all came from the same dogma. I’ll wait until the next stupid thread is posted to “debate”, but you’ll have to start providing evidence from your side, otherwise its not a debate.

Meanwhile, back here in reality, polls over the last generation show an ever growing proportion of America favoring biblical creation. The latest polls having been consistently showing the proportion of Americans believing in mankind being less than 10kya old is over 50%. How's it feel being in the minority? (Apparently it feels very insecure, judging from your emotional posting.)

I understand why people come to believe in evolution after years of teaching it in the schools. However, those of us who believe in creation are not fools. I am requesting that you show respect to us, and not call us names. We need to do the same for you guys.

I’d like these discussions to show respect in both directions and stop the animosity. More light and less heat.

This in itself proves out that you cannot be debated. Your assumption that those who believe in Creation cannot possibly believe in science is the problem. God created science and we do start from the assumption there is a God. The issue with your side is you start with the assumption that God either doesn’t exist or that He has no hand in what happens in the world. As a result, your conclusions will all lead to that one premise. Based on that I completely agree that debate is useless.

So, I must assume from your statements that you are a racist who believes that Africans and American Indians are savages who are not quite as fully evolved as Europeans. After all, those ideas and Evolution all came from the same dogma. Hmmm?

Who is the flat earther and who is not? Do you also believe in global warming? Do you also believe that socialism is the way the world will prosper and mankind will advance? Do you also believe in the other ridiculous things these people teach? Think about where and who you stand beside and support. All the things these these people teach and support are similar to their theories in evolution. They are all lies that they have perpetrated to control the masses to get the world they want for us to live in. Either you agree with all their lies or not. For all their lies are totally based upon blind faith that has clouded their common sense just as their belief in evolution has.

See, I can turn this around on you and use your own argument against you. You practice a blind nonsensical faith, because you would rather believe men who have been proved to lie and obfuscate. You want to believe in men's wisdom, and the wisdom of men has been proven to be wrong time and time again.

You can be as smart and wise as you desire when it comes to things of this world, but when you speak of God, you are speaking of the One who made the rules we must live by. Let me repeat that, we, not Him must live by. God is not bound by the simplicity of our minds nor the realm to which we live, because as I said He created the laws to which we are bound by.

In reality, your beef is not with those of us who claim to believe what the Scriptures tell us about what God did, your beef is with the One whom you think does not have the ability nor the right to do with that of which He created.

Ultimately, you are not in agreement that an all knowing, all powerful God who has the right to do what you cannot explain. So, you use arguments that have never been proven to be accurate, supported and promoted mostly by the very individuals whom you disagree with in almost every other aspect of human existence on this planet. I can only come to the conclusion, and forgive me for being so blunt, but it comes down to your desire to put God in a box that you can understand and explain.

You are not the only one to do such a thing, many men throughout history have decided that they would rather have a god that they can understand and agree with. Usually when men do this they come up with a God who thinks like men. Is it any wonder why Muhammad created a heaven that only a teenage boy in puberty could understand. Think about it?

Notice how many false religions, and even false Christian leaders, get all wrapped up into sex? Well even their idea of what heaven would be like is based upon their limited knowledge of what men think utopia would be like. Take Islam as an example. Muhammad has decided that he thinks heaven is a place where the men who qualify get 70 virgins, who become virgins again after they were deflowered. Joseph Smith decided that heaven was a place where women would be perpetually pregnant. (as an aside these two religions should get together, because one will need many virgins to replace the ones becoming pregnant) This is the type of logic you get when you put God in a box that men can understand, explain, and agree with. We as men are but children to God, and like children we can only fathom the partial knowledge that we have of everything.

For we know in part and we prophesy in part; but when the perfect comes, the partial will be done away. When I was a child, I used to speak like a child, think like a child, reason like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things. For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known. 1Corinthians 13:9-12

When all we see and know is gone, then those who profess Christ as their Lord and Savior will understand as He does, because He will open our eyes. Then it will be for us as it was for Saul when the scales fell from his eyes and he saw the truth. We too will lose the scales that have us blinded our minds and limited us to this world of which our minds are bound.

You are wrong sire, I like GGG, and others whom you say are none, but in reality are truly millions, also believe that God is bigger, more powerful, and more awesome than you could imagine. So in God's ability, yes He could and yes He has, made all you see and all you can understand in 6 earthly human days. There is no disputing it, because if you do? Then you dispute with God not, men.

What you need to do, is allow God to open your eyes as He did for Elisha's servant, and then you may understand why so many of us believe that which you cannot fathom.

Now when the attendant of the man of God had risen early and gone out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was circling the city. And his servant said to him, "Alas, my master! What shall we do?" So he answered, "Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them." Then Elisha prayed and said, "O LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see."
